Well, the talent changed a little since the beginning of the beta (I logged earlier today and remade my spec). With protector of innocent, you could heal yourself for over 8k every 3sec. I've no idea how good your threat is in this scenario, but that sound pretty decent imo.

In the beta at lv 83, it would heal me for 2k to 6k (I had 70k hp) depending how many charge I had and that was it.

I imagine it would be very hard to keep threat spending holy power on healing yourself, SoTR does ridiculous amounts of damage now...like more than Templars Verdict almost.

Yeah, that's what I think as well. I think however it could have its use in certain fight where threat isnt an issue (offtanking add away from the group?)


Should SoTR be used after 1 holypower or 3? I'm assuming it's better to stack it?

I just assumed 3 seeing as with 1 HP it hits for a lot less than 1/3 the damage. It's also worth noting that you have to talent into Guarded By the Light to make Word of Glory trigger holy shield, without that talent you have to use SOTR for the 15% block.

#2 DPS on a raid that fizzled out at sindragosa, RL calls it and says we'll extend the lock to kill sind/LK tonight.

I log in and everyone else in my raid is already a kingslayer. They killed it last night.

Look like I stole your perfection for my AV. We didnt own half the map, our leader was dead afaik, and I got it...unless im missing something, I wasnt supposed to get it..

TotC10 last night wipes twice because no-one wants to DPS Snowbolds and the Ranged who get mounted immediately run away from the rest of the Raid out of range from all the DPS then and complain about no-one killing it.
Then I get pounced and spend who knows how long running between Ranged and Melee asking for some goddamn help and get nothing.

"What's that? You've got a Snowbold on you? For the last 2min you say? Sorry can't help, DPSing boss."

Then no-body could release due to some bug and we had to Alt+F4 out to Ghost back on the slow as balls mounts.

Wait..what? Are ghost mount speed still broken? They were broken in the beta 2 months ago....Or is it the new default speed

Since the update last week they're slow as balls. Like 40% or walk speed no clue which. I'd assume it's a bug since there's no practical reason to slow you down while dead.
That's assuming you can release or you don't just res at the Graveyard when you release.

I tried a Wintergrasp yesterday and for about 3min nobody got resurrected. About 75% of the people fighting dead, the timer went down, animation went off, but everyone was still ghosted.

I assumed it was a bug 2 months ago in the cataclysm beta...but the fact it's still there worry me lol. I don't understand how they can let bug like this go for so long.

The most annoying bug is when you spawn with like 300 health at the ICC graveyard where people are just waiting to gank you. I'm not sure what causes it either, its not related to anything like how far you are in because we had like half the raid spawn at the graveyard and half the normal way.

Breaking news is that some people may be having Connection difficulties. Only taken them a week to realise.
I know it's a big patch and some bugs should be expected, but I expected better from Blizzard given how they're always about quality.

Turns out the instance servers are fucked. I picked a hell of a time to try and farm Strat.

@Noobta: I'm in the same boat. Managed to get everything for the Meta except that stupid helm in 2 days and given my luck with loot chances are I'm not seeing it in the next 2 weeks.

IIRC in Cata you will have to actually go find the instance entrance once before you can queue for it in the random dungeon finder, right?

Spending over 30 minutes waiting for three people who couldn't find the f'in FoS entrance if it jumped up and bit them on the ass (even with detailed instructions) is not my idea of a quick random. D:

On the plus side, turns out me and a good tank can duo several parts of H FoS...
