With raiding all but done and the lull between holiday events I decided to spin up my lv. 73 hunter alt for some levelling.
But my fucking goddam pet. Every time I send it to fight something in water. Loses interest after every autoattack and I gotta spam a pet attack macro every second just so I can fight normally...christ
ya a lot of people like the changes to hunter. Mine's retired until they make some more changes. SS spam is boring as fuck.
as for complaints, holy fuck blizz fix all the bg shit already. Hangar still doesn't work. Front gate is glitched. Rez chick still glitches. Can't see your stats if you join a game late. And oddly enough, ever since they combined battlegroups the wait time got even longer.

I still find it funny that people think Mages really changed that much in raid DPS, unless you are talking about getting sat out in pugs which sounds silly.
mages are insanely OP in pvp right now, i think compared to other pure DPS classes mages are a bit stronger aswell but hey

Mages are on the same level as many other classes as far as PvP strength right now, you can't just say one class is OP and leave out the others like Destro lock, Shadow Priest, Disc Priest, Holy Paladin, and Rogue. As far as PvE DPS Mage has been in the same position since ICC came out, near the top. The real baller mages that where doing like 20k on Saurfang before the patch are doing....20k on saurfang after the patch. For an average mage it was probably a 1-2k DPS increase (while I've seen the Warlock in our raid group go up 7k DPS because of this patch). For a terrible mage 4.0 was great though, boosted those 3-5k DPS mages which use full haste gems and love their nibelungs up to 10k+.

Low level mage is fucking useless in PvP. No armor of any sort, no shield of any sort, just frost nova and blink to try and get away, does not work.
FYI, not only can you NOT see your stats, you don't get credit for shit. I went into WSG trying to get an achiev (think it was whatever the return 50 flag one is). I was at 47 at the start. Ended up getting about 9 returns by the end of the game, stayed at 47. I decided to take note of it considering I had a hunch that since i couldn't see my stats, I more than likely wasn't gonna get credit for them. I was right. I can only assume its the same for everything else (i.e, Honorable Kills).
So apparently...non-heroics don't work for me?
Everytime I get into a normal instance, I dc constantly. 10-60s online and I'll be kicked to the loading screen. I can do BG's just fine, I can run around in the world just fine, I ran a heroic Nexus without a single dc. But I have gotten constant dc's in: normal Nexus/Azjol-Nerub, Slave Pens, Underbog, Mana Tombs...
This is quite annoying as I didn't reactivate to raid, I did it to level up and like my earlier complaint, some characters just can't PvP atm, heh.

No, I had to because I was surv and I always hated surv, (and hated that about surv) MM you didn't have to use SS all that often, and usually only once or twice in a row. Once they got rid of ArP I figured I could switch back to MM finally, and it ended up being exactly like Surv was and got rid of the shot rotation I loved about MM.
