Like I said, there is a clear path with 7 pulls unless your team is literally retarded and autorun afk.
Ozruk trash? I ask my party to stay at the corner and pull shit back (3 pulls, 2 big ogres). Never had any link in maybe 10 attempts, and I'm not sure how it could fail.
It's obviously less risky to kill every single things one by one, but you just added 15minutes to the instances for something that happens very rarely...not to mention the chance to actually wipe on these pulls if you're dealing with people of that caliber.
And I've been running with random more often than not. I'm saying there is a safe path.

The level of retardation you're implying is normal is just absurd, though.
It boils down to queue lengths. In my battlegroup they are commonly 40-50 minutes, and PUGs often take more than an hour to clear an instance. This leaves your typical employed human with enough time to PUG two heroics at most on any given weeknight. In wotlk you could clear 3 heroics in an hour, and everyone learned by routine which buttons to mash at which point in time, even in Oculus. In cata you may not see the same dungeon again for a week, and at the end of a 50 minute queue I don't have a lot of faith that people are going to be patient or careful. I've seen quite the opposite too many times in too many dungeons and yes, I'm not expecting a lot, which is why I usually give precise instructions to my group regardless of whether or not they seem to be putting out decent numbers. A 16k dps hunter in H. Vortex Pinnacle the other night got blown off of Altairus platform, and that was his only mistake. He wasn't dumb, just likely fatigued by the amount of time he had to wait for the group to assemble. I understand Blizzard wanting people to pay attention during the trash of the instance, but I'd rather that attention be spent during the fight itself, when you're using your class abilities and situational awareness to achieve a concrete goal (mob dead), not spent stressing about walking from point A to point B without Pippin knocking a skeleton down the noisiest hole in Moria.

Your battlegroup determines what servers you are paired with for any cross-server function, BGs and Dungeon Finder alike.
They got rid of that about a month ago (or more). It's all servers now. That's why there's no battlegroup forums now.
[edit] I semi lied, I didn't realize they only split the lfg tool into 4 groups (still though 40 min queues are probably something you see on all servers for dps).

Only 1 raid boss drops any caster mail wrist, and they kinda suck. :/
