Some of the patch notes changes are pretty retarded. Druids have had Berserk for how long... and now they decide to nerf it because it all of a sudden became OP in PvP? That was one of the nicest traits about that ability, especially in PvE when you know some trash is gonna fear or a boss can fear.

200 cap on fragments per race? Are you fucking kidding me? You know what would be a good solution Blizzard? After I finish every single item from a race....STOP GIVING ME THE FUCKING DIGSITES. Then I won't have excess fragments that I can't do shit with. I think 2nd graders I teach could understand that simple concept.

And if it's to prevent ppl stockpiling before more items are added...who cares? If someone really wants to farm 20k+ fossils...let them. It doesn't give them a 100% chance at anything, because again, the profession is based 100% on RNG.

I could only assume the cap is because they intent to add new items w/ each major content patch.. that's the only way to keep archeology important anyways. It just sounds super tedious from everyone who I have talked to.. and I have one friend who has put in countless hours trying to get the staff... to the point where I think he has gave up on the profession entirely

While I know that's the reason, it makes no sense. As having a million fragments doesnt mean you'll get a single rare if your luck is absolute shit. Its like Blizzard reducing everyone's gold to 5k each content update, because new stuff comes out they can buy.

Well, more like capping JP at 4k so that...oh wait, they already did that, for that exact reason.

I don't mind fragment caps, really. But to really fix the profession they either make generating endless amounts of fossils productive and desirable, or stop giving us endless amounts of fossil fragments once we are finished with the category.

Edit: also, disabling category dig sites when we are capped on that category also lets players decide when they no longer want to pursue a category. I find that solution superior to turning off dig sites when all rares of the category are completed.

Of course that would raise the issue of players capping on every category but one, and then getting dig sites for only one category...but is that really that big of a deal?

99% of heroic trash is LK-able in blues, let alone raid gear.
