Heroic halfus 10man makes me want to kill myself.
Discipline has a huge problem when it comes to fresh 85 characters.
Between the number of idiots in randoms, the utter worthlessness of Discipline's Mastery rating, how bollocks PW:S is early on (which should be Discipline's bread and butter), and Blizzard's FUBAR attempt at homogenizing the healing classes, you're almost forced to spec Holy in order to gear up to where Discipline becomes viable. Holy has the throughput to save those fresh 85 idiots, Discipline does not.
In an environment where people's brains are used, Disc is perfectly viable. Your average WoW player has the IQ of an ass. God knows how many randoms I've had to drop because people were fucking clueless.
Luckily, next patch is throwing Discipline a bone.
Most of the priests I run with in 5-man are holy simply for Lightwell, since it's such a good way to heal bosses with a lot of aoe going 'round.
New complaint: Mage says 'maybe I'll go frost for this' on final boss of H.Grim Batol, then doesn't. 3 fruitless wipes of Fan of Knives being the only way to snare the adds later, he says 'ok our dps sucks so I'll switch to frost.'
/madface
I jump while I'm running around too, don't worry. Who cares if I mpk random dps that can't interrupt or do half the damage of my prot paladin/warrior? Besides, if it looks like we're going to wipe, I can just instant teleport out, and instant que for another dungeon immediately. It's all good.
In this thread, some serious niggas.
Trying to get Dwarf fragments. This is what my map usually looks like. Fuck WoW.

trying to get troll fragments and my map is usually 100% dwarftrade?
Arch sucks big time.
Did a few randoms on my Hunter today (level 38 now) and our group was going to queue up again, only we couldn't because the priest went offline. Couldn't kick him, either, because you can't kick someone after the dungeon has been completed. Retarded.
The main source of guild rep once you are 85 and raiding is....
daily quests.
I just barely capped this week because I don't typically do daily quests once I am rep-capped. Ended up capping on my 25th daily tonight, and there's not a single non-daily quest I haven't done in Cata.
I cannot find a raid group. I am lucky if I get BH done in a week lol.
In my server Im lucky if alliance take control of TB once in a week during prime time...
I have no idea how TB even works. I thought it was easy for factions to switch off?
For a couple of weeks, you would gain 1800+ honor when you won while attacking compared to a couple hundred for a successful defense. So, factions would purposely lose so they could be the attackers next round. Blizzard reduced the amount you gain while attacking to 300 or something now (close to where it was at Cata launch) and with that incentive gone people actually try again. TB is balanced like shit and the defender has a large advantage, so it rarely trades sides on some servers.
Cho'gall is one of the worst servers in terms of faction imbalance, if Alliance had WG once a week it was a huge surprise. They have TB fairly often now so I guess Blizzard did something right (or wrong) depending on how you look at it. I always see a shitton of Horde at the bridge waiting to be queued into battle, so maybe there's some kind of balancing of how many people can join now. Which would make sense if it wasn't so easy to defend.
TB uses the hardcap 1:1 A:H ratio method iirc
Yeah, that was the problem on my server iirc, the defending team (usually Alliance) wouldn't even queue up for it so getting into a battle in the first damn place was nearly impossible. I still haven't seen a single TB battle and I've given up on queueing for it. Maybe by the time the next expansion is about to come out and TB is old news I'll start trying to do it again. :/
Hate weekend PvPers, btw, they all suck. Monday-Friday we usually win more than lose in randoms but holy fuck getting a win on a Saturday is so fucking retardedly difficult with all the bads.
Also, started a new toon yesterday, running around Eversong Woods for a bit and some retarded DK on his kodo mount started following me everywhere, hitting Path of Frost every three seconds (or whatever the cooldown is on it) ... guessing some sort of bot program so he can AFK in BGs and fuck up his team's chance at winning. I made sure to run into a building so he'd dismount before logging off of that toon.
Protip: if you don't want to PvP, don't do it, you're not required to do it and the gear is not required for anything but PvP. Don't fuck it up for the rest of us who actually enjoy and want to win by afking or botting. I reported him, for what good it will do, but it annoys the shit out of me to see six dots at the start point on my map while I'm getting rocked by a dozen Alliance that I have no hope of defending from due to the pure lack of support on my side.
Honestly giving up on PvPing on the weekends now. Between the bads and the bots it's more frustrating than it's worth.
If only Blizzard would actually take a hard line against battleground bots / afkers.
