Those used to come up like 1 min after gate opened, they've been through some interesting iterations...

At first they dotted you, which meant no sap/sheep/etc. as long as you had it on lol. Later they were changed to like 30% extra damage taken, and became an interesting decision to use or not.

Now I don't know if they even do anything like that, but they take a long damn time to spawn.

Not really, I don't take PvP seriously. And I'm pretty sure there's a real "he's mad" post from me within the last couple of pages, lol.

Biggest problem with ferals in pvp is that a huge portion of their damage is on their bleeds, which allows them to do significant damage even when they're not on target. My newly-85 feral was getting nearly as much damage from a single rake/rip tick as mangle. You could literally run up, pounce-zerk-mangle-rip-rake, and run away, and the bleeds alone would take off half of a target's life. In fact, that's how I did a lot of my leveling to 85.

Moving the damage into mangle/shred will fix this to a huge degree.

There aren't that many classes that actually have controlled roots (druids, mages, hunters, and elemental shaman), so the whole "can't shift out of roots" thing is a bit overblown I think.

Had a piece of work paladin in Stonecore heroic wearing a bunch of pvp crap, pve crap (tank) say: "can i dps in my tank spec, I'm more used to it"; he was doing 1.8k, add 3 or so healers terribad at moving from burrow and it was a fun way to waste 30 minutes.

Mage has been the developer darling for quite a while now, they will protect it viciously. Even the crazy dk buff does little vs mages because they're so based around full on root even with absurd amounts of slows to boot.

But yeah, feral has been a bit overboard with the ability to start your damage in offensive mode, then switch to full on defensive (or even just plain running away) and still maintain nearly full damage output.

Based on this post it seems like feral must get 50 talent points still, I must be bugged. The 6% magic mitigation is impossible to get with a decent PvP spec. You can't get both the armor improving and 12% damage reduction talents. Also bear's "massive armor" is less than or similar to non-shield wearing plate wearers.

Ferals can heal as effectively as rogues now via recuperate, and requires more GCDs.

In reality the only changes the spec needed for PvP balancing was to shift damage away from bleeds (probably more than they did in this patch) but instead they decided to fuck with other shit and it pissed people off.

To be fair rogues heal really fucking well now.

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

this reminds me of something that has been irritating me lately. Hunter I think is the only class now that can't heal themself in someway. I know, I know, surv is insanely op atm, but when they nerf it? Just irritates the fuck out of me when I'm fighting a warlock and his hp keeps going up and up while he dots the fuck out of me and I can't do anything to get that hp back.

New complaint, fuck you blizzard for making us have to farm up the fucking resist trinket for a few hardmodes. Because of you, I have to do shitty TB dailys and I have to miss out on my mandala trinket because I value progression more. Also, fuck you hardmode Ascendant Council.

We made it a guild rule for everyone to get that trinket asap a couple of weeks back. It really helps a lot in most fights.

When Blizz said they were bringing back the feel of vanilla raiding, they meant it.

Typhoon in dungeons. Whether it helps me or not, I just dont like packs of monsters being thrown around.

Also moonkins in general. Especially danish moonkins.

Oh and just curious, if you queued for a random and ended up with a tank two levels lower than you, would you AoE to your hearts content before threat is even established? Yesterday I was booted from a dungeon because I couldn't hold threat from a mage spamming flamestrike/blizzard immediately after the pull. I'd always lose 1 or 2 which I hadn't hit with anything powerful from my arsenal.

Guess it doesn't matter. Got an instant dungeon immediately after because tanks never have to wait ^-^

On my feral tank, I've been watching with glee as morons die because they can't follow a target / have a hard-on for AoE.

I even mark the the dps target with skull, and they still peel off and attack random shit all the god damn time and pull threat. I tab-taunt and tab-lacerate and thrash/swipe, but they still pull it off.

    Then, I let them die.

Even most wrath babies know to wait until the tank has all the mobs grouped up and has tclapped/hotr/swiped before firing off AOEs. Sounds like you had some bads in the group, and to this I say: get used to it.

    That's about ~250ish resist compared to ~400.

Plus the Sindragosa one has just +stam, while the TB trinket gives mastery.

More so though, who wants to step foot into ICC ever again?
