healing meters mean shit for fucking shit. Of course you're at the top, you're freaking raid healing. I'm keeping the bloodty tanks alive cockass. Just people in general who think healing meters decide whether a healer is good or not are the dumbest morons in-game.

Uh, you can actually get some pretty good pre-raid Relic/Libram/Totem/Idol/Sigil from em.

You can get those after one day of doing those dailies. Which I did. I also got a shitty cloak for my lolKitty, as well as a trinket. They were all replaced pretty fast, and the thousands of venture coins I'm still sitting on are lonely.

They were just meant to help get leveling/preraid ammo slot items like Norellicus said, for people who didn't raid at 70/alts. I doubt they'll add anything useful for 80s to them

Argghhhh hate not being able to make it to my guild eoe runs... have to deal with shitty pugs with goddamn hunters taking the damn discs in phase 2, and people not knowing how to heal/dps/shield in phase 3. IT'S NOT THAT HARD.

There was a blue post that pretty much laid it out there that healing meters do not mean anything at all when it comes to the efficiency of healing. They said that when they moved the worst healer on the HMs into a dps role for a fight that they wiped a lot more and it seemed very shaky. They swapped him back to heal and moved the top healer into that dps role and they one shot. I say don't worry about it, and just know that you're keeping people alive and doing your job. I used to get pissed the peepump/druid (bebopaloo) would beat me on absolutely everything because in TBC I topped 90% of the fights by a large margin as shaman. I've came to realize that doing your job is what matters most. So chin up bro.

I have just shy of 500 Venture Coins on my Priest... and I started doing those dailies after I hit 80 to help me earn money for my epic flying (this was before I discovered Hodir dailies). You can't even use the coins to buy something and NPC it... I tried. XD They're totally useless.

I did make sure to go do like, 2 days worth of the dailies on my druid though to get 2 more idols for bear and moonkin specs. All I was using previously was [item=28064]Idol of the Wild[/item]. Debating whether or not to keep doing them for cloaks before I quit them all together.

Unless you were a raider during TBC, I'm pretty sure that any of the range items that come from the Venture Bay dailies are going to be an upgrade. It's no coincidence that that you can earn just enough to buy one in a single round of quests there. Forget the fact that it's a PvP zone, treat the quest as another hub and take a nice reward at the end of it. If you enjoy PvP by all means grind out a cloak too but I can't help but think you guys are reading far too much into the purpose of that place.

I'm on a PvP server, and those quests are only "PvP" if someone of the opposing faction happens to be there doing them and feels like making them PvP (like the 80 Rogue who felt like messing with my Druid and the Ele Shammy I had teamed up with at the Logging Grounds). For the level though, those dailies are sort of retardedly easy for just shy of 10 gold a pop. It's an easy ~100 gold/day before you graduate to Hodir or Argent Tourney dailies. I'd say the hardest part is trying to claim the lighthouse island where the quartermaster is if your faction doesn't own it. Everything else is cake.

I always thought of the place as a sort of stepping stone to help you level faster and get into blues to help you level for people that don't have many hours to play.

Its one the things I do daily when I lvled alts at lv74, and a shortcut to lv 80 before even touching sholzar basin/stormpeaks/icecrown.

1 complaint I have about the place is the 10min to claim the lighthouse.

Havent raided in a week. Haven't really raided in a month. As soon as I joined the new guild, about 6-7 people left and we havent had a 25 man raid in over a month. Hopefully things will swing around, but its getting frustrating :/

our DK tank is having issues with the lightning thrower dude. any tips?

the lightning dude keeps getting into a power rune and then doin the spinning attack. mabye our DK just needs more experience with the thing. hmmm...
