So the level 70 off pieces vendor was deleted in 4.0.3. I PvP most of my way through Northrend (and most of the game actually) so this is quite disappointing. My shaman makes very good use of resil and such. So will my warrior who is 69. Think I'll just bench them both at 70 until next patch. Which sucks, as I'm not leveling my rogue/hunter/DK because they're all getting buffs to the specs I play them as next patch.

So kinda have little to do unless I feel like running heroics and shit on my 85's. Which is just /ugh with pugs these days.

as for the rest, just fill in the off spots with green gear from the next expansion, it's barely any different, especially now that it's all 5 level windows anyway

S4 gear actually lasts most of the way through WotLK levels and for PvP purposes will last me until Cata greens come into play. As well, the 70-74 bracket is the last one I really get to enjoy as once I'm 75 PvP is total shit until I can get a full set of Cata greens for my character. So I want to have the bestish gear.

I also have BRD boots, lol. So two huge upgrades from the missing PvP vendor. Should only be a week to wait, but it'll be a boring week.

You can still buy them with the t6 tokens for bracers/belt/boots from sunwell, on sunwell island but I dunno if you have the ability to get those on your toon.

Still won't get me the rings/neck. Missing PvP gear for level 70 includes bracers/belt/boots/neck/rings/cloak. Think I'll be up to 25% DR from resil or something if I have them all. I'll be pretty damn invincible. As well, if I wait for the patch my LB will do 10% more damage. It already hits for half (or more) of a persons hp, so lulz can't wait.

It reminds me of silver sea salvage in XI. I think the funny part of it is that I never expected to get anything out of it but wow, is the design of it just terrible. I think its the worst thing about cata so far.

I'm not the most hardcore at doing it, just a few tol'vir solves a day but when I actually start thinking about how epic this could of been my mind just gets blown.

I think people would have preferred if it was at least as interesting as cooking/fishing/first aid. Right now it ranks 4th on the list of secondary professions ranked by fun/utility.

It's very depressing that during a 25man Magmaw, with me being the main kiter of the adds, somehow I end up being the top dps.

And I didn't even get to burn the boss for 2 full phases and also hit the boss for barely 2 Explosives another phase.

Ugggh. And now we are stopping for the night due to lack of tanks, yet we have 30+ people on.

I just want to progress, that's all.

I decided this evening to queue up for a quick random on my DK, working on leveling her off and on whenever I get the time, so I port into the dungeon - it's Caverns of Time, which I've never done on any of my toons. I say as much in party chat. We get going, kill some stuff, get past the first boss then run into the building, where we fight some mobs. I stop to loot for a second and everyone's run off - to where, I don't know. I asked, no response, so I attempted to locate them myself, trying to be quick to catch back up while also trying not to aggro.

Unfortunately, I do catch aggro, and wow, the insults fly. I get called everything from retard to idiot to kid. As soon as I got the aggro I apologized for it and repeated that I'd lost them, and I wasn't a retard about it, I said, "I apologize for the aggro." Wow, you would have thought I just raped their puppies, holy fucking shit. Insults kept flying, and I reminded them that I had said I'd never been there before. People fucking ragequit the dungeon after that.

Seriously? Grow the fuck up people. I made sure that everyone was aware that I'd never been there before and I apologized as politely as possible for my fuck up (owning my mistakes, go figure, something the average WoW player is not capable of doing), and people still treated me like I was the lowest form of scum. Sometimes I swear this community makes me miss botting HNMs in DA and listening to retarded linskhells fight over stupid shit while other linkshells are trying to flail each other.

So waste of time, got a little xp for my trouble but I was annoyed - partially because I caused it, but more because people couldn't just accept a goddamn apology and move on.

Another new complaint, nice little stealth nerf to Atramedes in hardmode. He lost 60mil HP, but people will still exploit to kill him since there are about 5 different spots you can tank him to do it.

Granted, it's frustrating when you've got most of the rares and the RNG fucks you over, but the other secondaries are at least as tedious if you're doing it 'right' and money dumps otherwise. The lack of real utility is the only reasonable argument.

I only leveled jewology to troll guildies with getting the rares they complained over for weeks since they did not get them after 1000's of solves. I didn't expect to get anything out of it but maybe a few laughs at their expense and to kill time and have something to do on non-raiding days. The more I played around with jewology the more flaws I see in it, I see a lot of problems with it.

I don't know anyone who would call this profession "fun". I remember @ blizcon when cata was revealed they said we would love jewology and it would be a fun thing to do. I don't know a single person who finds jewology fun, I suspect maybe some of those FFXIV players would love jewology. I don't expect this profession to be raining epics from the sky but its far from fun.

I actually laugh everytime I see a DK, PLD, War whining on the forums over zinrok. The amount of whining over the drop rates is pretty epic but my complaint is that it's not fun, its shitty designed, there needs to be more to it than just mindlessly trying to farm an epic that has maybe a 1% drop rate or some shitty mount/pet.

This profession could have been so epic, but it's sorta fail. In 4.1 when the next tier of epics get added all you're going to see is the next line of classes qq'ing about not seeing the next leet epic that everyone will want through jewology.
