Not a complaint, but hell where else I'ma put this idfk. THANK GOD, they gave prot pallies an interrupt. You have no idea how many times I've wiped on retarded shit like Lady Naz'jar just because either 1 the only interrupt was a shaman healer who had to try and cure and do it at the same time and would fail constantly 2. fucking idiot dps who simply can't get the hang of it.
It's made my job 100x easier knowing that's in my power and easy for me to do.
I guess only minor complaint atm is the beacon of light lay on hands nerf. So op for bgs it's understandable, but I so miss it for pve ;;
Yeah, I don't want to ever go back to tanking without interupt, it's just too good. Sure avenger shield did fine sometime, but it was slow, inefficient, and always on cooldown .
I bound mine to alt 1/2 to make sure it's available whenever I need it. It's working great for me so far..dont think I missed any interupt yesterday with that setup.
For heroic, it was fine, but in raid, there is a few boss like arcanotron and maloriak where avenger shield was not sufficient, it is really nice..
most bosses in 5 man seem to enjoy doing the interrupts on the 10-15 second count, so ya this is 100x easier because more often or not that just wasn't enough.
[edit] avenger's shield/hammer were in theory mostly a backup, but how the fuck you going to know in a pug in time whether the dps have their interrupt up or not (in guild runs not so bad since we're all on vent and they could say "not up", so I'd know.)
Meh, probably because some people were actively fishing for IP dungeons to get their daily valor quicker.
I think it was more people refusing to join IP dungeons to avoid partial-failure runs.
This, although it remains an incredible pain because lately the pattern is I'll get IP dungeons because some guy just won the trinket/thrown weapon/wrist armor I want off that boss that JUST DIED and left, leaving me with only the VP/JP rewards remaining in the dungeon
Related complaint: having my queue pop on an in progress dungeon, zone in then watch 2 people change their minds and leave the dungeon. WHY DID YOU FUCKING AGREE TO REQUEUE IF YOU WERE GOING TO LEAVE ANYWAY.
Headed south.
We tried 5 times today, and on every attempt 2 people got knocked off the platform...wtf, how do you deal with this.
First of all, it's an individual achievement, the easiest way in my opinion is to do it for 2-3 people then come back and do it for the other 2-3 people.
Leave up all 3 adds and make sure you MARK which one spawns last. When that one dies, the boss drops his shield. Have ranged kill the minions, when all 3 servants are up, stack on the boss and kill the marked add so the boss drops his shield. He'll throw you away, stack up again. Start DPSing, then lust and kill the second add to refresh the debuff. You shouldn't even need to kill the 3rd add right away, just blow up the boss and kill it right before he dies.
If the only part you're having trouble with is people getting thrown off the ledge, just make sure they're in the middle when his bubble bursts. If they still get thrown off its bad luck.
Yeah, that'd what I told them about the individual achievement, but they wanted to do all 5 at the same time.
We were doing it like you said, but we dropped it to 20-30% before finishing the 3rd add. We just couldnt survive the bouncingé
And yeah, we were in the middle...the bouncing seemed to a lot rougher than I remembered (I went from one side to another in like 2 bounce)
How the fuck do you do phase 1 on Nef10 with only two tanks? I can't kite the adds around on my Mage because random raid heals just pull them right off me. Should we put a ret paladin with righteous fury on the adds?
We ended up doing Headed South with 2 healers and dpsing his shield down to 50%ish. It took a while, but it was easy and the only risk was RNG throwing someone off the ledge during bouncing.
10 man encounters needing 3 tanks make me frownyface.

You can use 1 person to "pull" the mob to the right location and then let it get CC'd.
Or, you can let them die where they will, and just have your tank in phase 3 deal with it.
