LoH applying Forebearance is old hat, blame the fact that these devs don't want to maintain separate rulesets for pve/pvp for that one. I don't remember who it was but a blue pretty much said "Yeah, we know we just killed paladin defensive cooldowns, but it was broken in PVP. Hopefully your healers are good enough that it won't be an issue!"

I'm not saying I wouldnt like a "oh shit button" that pop divine shield and lay on hands, but I seriously don't need that very often.

I find divine shield overpower enough with its ability to reset stack and survive anything. I think its okay to prevent us from using both back to back.

Ah those hunter changes.... that explains why the hunter in my guild, who average 6k dps (not sure what spec) shot up to 15k dps on a boss last night (in heroic, no luck of draw buff, guild group)

If your hunters were doing 6k dps pre-patch you have bigger things to worry about than their sudden rise in it. :/

I'm unsure what you mean but from what I noticed he's more of a casual kinda guy according a RL friend who knows him in RL, and was always performing quite poorly previously (hence 6k dps), if that was the problem, then yes we were all worried, but he rarely raids with us so it's of minor concern.



Minor note, it felt good to boot a dps last night in HoO! -- guild friend had to leave, we were in the elemental fights bit and incoming warlock guy. He comes in, "quickly go to last boss plz" comment. I go "ok" and then instruct everyone very carefully to not dps until I round up the mini mobs and engage the elemental. So I run down the slope and up the steps. I noticed him dead before I could even react properly.

The outburst? "fuck u tank" -- healer whispers me that he rained hell on the mobs while I was running ahead (using Blood Boil to pick them up)

I laughed and booted him with the reason "He can enjoy another 50min queue" (proudly stolen from someone here, thank you by the way) and was removed. I didn't want to put up with rudeness with someone couldn't even follow instructions. Rest of the run was smoooooth and people listened to me when I explained tacs.

But man, considering the queue times, hopefully that's a lesson learnt for that guy who decides to be an ass upon finally getting into a heroic. I know VP is important but to be like that to get it? Nah.

There is no way someone went from 6k to 15k dps.

Unless they weren't trying for whatever reason.

Aye, I can't comment much more on that and it's possible that he wasn't trying. But I know the other hunter in guild was also telling him how to spec and such prior to it. :/

I haven't tried MM but its definitely above SV by a good 3 to 4k dps at least.

Yesterday: Finally get someone to sit down at the Romantic Basket with me, in Dalaran, so I can eat my Buttermilk Delight to get the Achievement [Lonely?] done. Eat said chocolate... nothing. No Achievement. FFFFFFF-

My god. You would think it's freaking murder to get someone to take 5 seconds out of their time to just sit at the basket so you can get an Achievement. I can't believe it bugged out on me or whatever. Had to go get another box of choclate to get another Buttermilk Delight to try again. I've sat there watching people just pass me by as I'm begging, pleading even, just for one person to sit down. Ugh.. I just need this and the pity thing (which I probably won't get done) to complete the event.

Pity the fool only takes two days worth of the dailies if you farm the charms in the right spot.

idk. why would you respec to BM or MM? The only reason to go MM is to faceroll PvP or if you do proper raiding, otherwise whatever you use are still solid options.

Oh I have the things to buy the Love Fool... I just don't care for PvP and don't really -want- to do the BG part. I skipped the Winter Veil one that requires honarable kills as a "little helper" because I just don't care for WoW PvP. (I figured I could put it off since I didn't have the rep to do the Ogri'la thing anyway). That.. and finding someone to just group with me to enter Naxx. It's like pulling teeth to find help, unless you offer stupid amounts of money. Pet peeve of mine. Hate having to offer money for simple help and hate seeing people have to resort to it. I'll always refuse the money if I help someone, but that's just me.

And my god.. that guy has like all his Mastery reforged. Last I read Mastery out performed Haste and Crit for BM. Has it changed already?

Blizz just happened to buff pets enough for mastery to be sort of meh, haste affecting cobra shot plus more crit, I assume outweight mastery, then again all those guys are drowning in heroic gear, not quite heroic blues stats

I feel this way too. Bugs the crap out of me. Yeah, part of what I like about WoW is that I can solo if I want to, but if I want to group with people for something, even something simple, it shouldn't be so goddamn difficult.

Well you can just queue once for AB, run to the very edge of Blacksmith before the opposing faction can even hit you with a spell, then macro the love fool /pity macro and /afk out. It's pretty easy.

Honestly if you're not pushing progression in a top guild, your spec doesn't matter. All three will be about even for you (Now anyway with the nerf to Survival). Go with what gives the most raid utility/what you want to actually play.
