Still chuckling that FailureMidgard seems to think an instant 26k heal is an awesome cooldown but a 30% tank damage reduction ability isn't. "You mean I have to wait until the instant after NLM goes off to use AM+Sac+Shock to mitigate the breath?!?!?!!!! THATS IMPOSSIBLE JUST GIVE ME AN INSTANT 26k HEAL ALREADY!"
Sounds like druids are just overpowered and can NS every 15 seconds or whatever then. NS sure is amazing on shaman, and has saved my raids countless times. I guess I'm playing a shitty underpowered shaman, which is why 6/9 of the raids "stacked" a druid in the raid. Taking -1- of a class to a 10man is not stacking btw.
Also, even if your tank is standing in the PWB too for the 30% reduction, you're still looking at taking ~18k instantly, and another ~30k immediately after that, in addition to your 80k up front damage. You do need a heal instantly, between LM and breath/melee or you're going to die. Also, this is assuming the tank is actually getting the PWB, which may not even be the case. And now you're gonna say to be "intelligent" or "good" and heal yourself between said breath and melee - except you're ignoring the fact that if you do so, you are just failing to heal the tank who is still going to be in dire need of heals (both tanks TBH, which is where your beacon should be), and it really doesn't end up any better in the end than if you just healed the tank (since it's in fact, not a 1-shot, and either way you need to land a well-timed heal -after- the fact.) Please tell me, when you are requiring a quick/well-timed heal after the fact, to save the paladin, how this "reduction" is in fact better than a flat heal? Yes, it is better in situations where the tank is at risk of near 1-shot and the paladin is completely safe. Duh, but I have no idea why you are fighting tooth and nail for druid to suck compared to paladin on Nef. Can Sac be used if you're now stacking it with other CDs which already make it so the tank may be able to survive all the damage without a single heal? Sure why not. Does it have a purpose, at all? Not really. Just because you -can- use it, doesn't make it a benefit to the raid.
And Sorry Katlan, I'll add my own complaint -
I hate the fact that my raid stacks a mage, fucking always have one in the raid. Wish we didn't rely on raid stacking so much.
Oh right, so we wait until after Machine goes off, and use a GCD to then direct 30% of ~180k dmg preresist, more like 150-160k post resist, so ~45kish damage to the paladin? And this is somehow just leagues better than instantly healing him and not putting yourself at risk. Besides, if you were any good, you would have just landed a large heal right after the machine goes off (+ the druids OP instant heal on a 15sec CD which he can land in the same timestamp as his HT). So the pally + druid together can instantly land heals for what, ~80k? In other words, the defensive cooldowns are just a fucking patch for bad players, which is what I've been saying for the past day or 2 now, because they still aren't needed, and the way you are now suggesting to use BoSac is just a flat out waste of mana on a fight that already has mana issues. I don't care if its 200 mana, the way you're suggesting to use it now should -never- save anyone's life. If someone is smart enough to time that correctly, they should be smart enough to time a heal correctly.
Holy shit you're dumb.
Let's start making a list of the dumb things FailureMidgard has said! I'll go first:
"defensive cooldowns are just a fucking patch for bad players" Defensive cooldowns are a crutch, man!
Yesterday: "Breath is 50k per half second" Today: "180k damage preresist" Thank god he only channels breath for 1.8 seconds!
"Look, they aren't raid stacking, they just magically all have a paladin and disc priest as 2 of the 3 healers"
"If you don't save a life with your defensive cooldown, you just wasted it"
And wasted the mana it cost!
To think you could have spent 5k on an instant 26k heal instead.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BEAUTIFUL THREAD
Oh yeah, did I mention horde hillsbrand starting quest (get turned into a questgiver) is fucking amazing? Compalint: I dont want to level a horde![]()
Just level to 25 then that's about as far as that quest line goes.
