Needless to say he pretty much dragged my entire group across the map with the flag and never died ;/
No matter what side I play, its always loosing to something stupid wtf ;/
More effort went into those April fools jokes than the actual 4.1 patch.
I was thinking the exact same thing lol. But tbh, I'd be more pissed if they joked about a early release of 4.1 and 4.2 instead of that stuff they posted. Blizz seriously needs some more people working for them.. with 11 million subscribers you think they'd put out more content.
In other news, I have lost all faith in humanity for random heroics. Today I tried to do one on my Mage to get 70 valor before I capped out on raid bosses. I end up in Vortex Pinnacle with 3 from a guild and a feral tank. Tank is slow, takes like 30-45sec between pulls but I don't really mind that. We wipe on trash because the healer isn't hotting everyone, I'm constatly ending up pulling threat on shit and carrying the group doing double the amount of dps as everyone else. We finally reach the last boss. Everyone's ready, we all go in. I get hit by static cling but blink out, move to triangle.. 3 people are still clinged. Wipe, run back, explain tactics. Wipe again. And again. This round I'm really fucking frustrated, check recount to see that the healer isn't dispelling and has the Magic dispel talent and she does. So I ask in chat why she isn't dispelling. "cause you dont need to dispel if you jump" so I asked if she had grid, she replied with "you dont need grid if you have deadly boss mods". So then I ask why she isn't using her remove corruption spell to dispel people with Static cling so they can run to the triangle and she replied with "oh i didnt know you could remove it with that, i dont use that spell at all anyway".
At this point I'm ready to fucking rage, it's 2 am, I'm sleepy, this group is full to the brim of fucking terrible players and I just want to down this fucking easy boss. I opt to vote kick the healer, hoping the tank would agree. I'm not sure exactly how it works but he either accepted or declined and the vote failed. They then opted to vote kick the tank, I accept. I can't kick them, I might aswel get rid of the tank who can't jump at the right time. Then, with our new group waiting for the next pull.. they kicked me.
Fuck this stupid shit
lol and I thought a 7+ minutes altarius was bad >.> it was going so slow I decided to kite it around the platform the last 10% or so, the warrior had no clue how to get past the orbs, and didnt bother to ask why, and some druid kept dying from shadow gale in grim batol.
There is such a big number of fresh 85 fucktards, and they keep being boosted because sometimes is easier to just carry them than waste a kick.
But my random complaint is all the stupid tanks that keep pulling the whole courtyard in SFK, I dont need rep.; and neither do they since the last 5 havent been wearing a tabard.
Fucking RNG bullshit in this game drives me crazy. At least while grinding reps I can see a light at the end of a tunnel, or killing a boss I know he will drop SOME loot even if it's not what I want. But been farming for Mr Grubbs and Zin'Rohk today and it made me remember why I don't play Korean games. I get caught up grinding too much, and waste hours with nothing to show for it. Mr Grubbs grind isnt that bad, just mind numbing dull, Zin'Rohk is just fucking retarded and not knowing if I have some sort of bug preventing me from getting it (Since Blizzard won't say yes or no to the question and knowing them there could be one and they just won't admit it) makes me want to tear my eyes out.
Oh well, at least I only saved up 200 troll artifacts this time to get some 1-5g grays! That's enough archaeology for me for the next month and a half.
http://www.wowhead.com/item=64403 > worm. dancing fox!
I also did not know that pet existed, the fuck.
The thing is, that pet actually doesn't exist in game, so good luck getting it![]()
Meaning it wont fucking drop.
I used to farm that pet, but then I realized I was killing foxes trying to find one that was at the end of term for it's pregnancy and snatching the baby like some crack whore in the south after murdering the mother.
It's not the first time I've ever had that feeling about pet acquisition
fucking pugs i swear. I might as well instantly leave group every time grim batol pops up (which is a bitch in and of itself, i get it 4/5 times a week) because lord knows it's too fucking hard for your random player. 4 wipes to drahga because running from the elemental that puts a fucking beam on the person its after to make it as easy as it possibly could be, isnt enough, oh no. they stand there and get themselves blown the fuck up, usually running to the healer killing them too. That's if the healer isn't the dumbfuck not running from it in the first place. then about 4 more on erudax because the two other dipshit dps im with with their tremendous 8k dps each cant fucking handle a single add, so i have to quickly burn mine and help them, and thats IF we survive shadow gale, because hey, even running like a motherfucker is too hard.
Sorry for the longish rant, but ungh. how do these people manage to not fall down more.

I've hit Grim Batol a lot lately, we got through pretty easy most runs, funny thing is we wiped on 2 of the drake caller guys and none of the bosses...
It's too late for April Fools, so is this new dungeon finder thing for real? Holy shit, wtf is wrong w/ blizzard since cata. its one fail after the other
Daaaaamn son, I'm sold, I'm a cheap whore.
Edit: Talking about this, bring on the hate.
P.S. It wont make me queue more than twice if at all, the retards to reward ratio is still too uneven. And pretty sure I'lll be mad raging with all the moron newfag tanks that will pop to try and farm mounts and gold.In patch 4.1 we'll be introducing Dungeon Finder: Call to Arms, a new system intended to lower queue times. Call to Arms will automatically detect which class role is currently the least represented in the queue, and offer them additional rewards for entering the Dungeon Finder queue and completing a random level-85 Heroic dungeon.
Any time the Dungeon Finder queue is longer than a few minutes for level-85 Heroics, the Call to Arms system kicks in and determines which role is the least represented. In the case of tanking being the least represented role, the "Call to Arms: Tanks" icon will display in the Dungeon Finder UI menu where class roles are selected, and will also display on the UI when the queue pops and you are selected to enter a dungeon. Regardless of your role, you'll always be able to see which role currently has been Called to Arms, if any.
Call to Arms is meant to lower wait times by offering additional rewards for queuing as the currently least represented role. To be eligible for the additional rewards you must solo queue for a random level-85 Heroic in the role that is currently being Called to Arms, and complete the dungeon by killing the final boss. Every time you hit these requirements (there is no daily limit) you'll receive a goodie bag that will contain some gold, a chance at a rare gem, a chance at a flask/elixir (determined by spec), a good chance of receiving a non-combat pet (including cross faction pets), and a very rare chance at receiving a mount. The pets offered come from a wide variety of sources, and include companions like the Razzashi Hatchling, Cockatiel, and Tiny Sporebat, but the mounts are those specifically only available through dungeons (not raids), like the Reins of the Raven Lord from Sethekk Halls, Swift White Hawkstrider from Magister's Terrace, and Deathcharger's Reins from Stratholme.
This system is meant to address the unacceptable queue times currently being experienced by those that queue for the DPS role at max level. The long queue times are, of course, caused by a very simple lack of representation in the Dungeon Finder by tanks, and to some extent healers. We don't feel the tanking and healing roles have any inherent issues that are causing the representation disparity, except that fulfilling them carries more responsibility. Understandably, players prefer to take on that responsibility in more organized situations than what the Dungeon Finder offers, but perhaps we can bribe them a little. While this system gives tanks and healers something extra, the incentive is being provided so that we can help players in the DPS role get into more dungeons, get better gear, and continue progressing.
While the gold, gems, flasks, and elixirs are OK incentives, we knew we needed something more substantial. We had briefly considered Valor Points and epics, but decided that wouldn't be working toward the goal of helping DPS players progress, and ultimately wouldn't keep tanks and healers in the Dungeon Finder system for very long. We settled on pets and dungeon-found mounts as they’re cosmetic/achievement items that players tend to try to get on their own, so why not change that up and offer them a chance to get some of those elusive pets and mounts in a way that also helps other players? Even if they don't get a pet or mount, or get one they already have, the gold and other goodies still feel rewarding enough that it won't feel like a waste of effort.
We think it's a pretty solid incentive to get tanks and healers queuing, give max-level players another way to collect the pets and mounts they so desire, and above all, to improve wait times for DPS players sitting in queues. In the case of lower level dungeons, it's actually not uncommon for DPS to be the least represented role, and so if this new system works out and we're pleased with the results, we may consider applying this same mechanic to lower level dungeons as well.
I don't think its going to have that much impact on the queue timers. This problem goes far deeper, these heroics have 0 replayability once you cap out in gear/don't need vp anymore on one char. In wrath this was hidden by the fact that the heroics were so faceroll people weren't afraid of rolling tank alts and jumping into the fray.
I think if anything the heroic 5 man system just got exposed of how old and boring the system is in cata. It is like one giant MF run in diablo 2 thats just become a solid bore.
While I'm spamming the new troll heroics for mounts and bits and pieces of welfare upgrades, it will be a nice side bonus to playing my awesum tank. But once I'm done it's not going to convince me to do more than 7 heroics a week.
The mounts are olde and have been in the game for ages. Not only that but no one ever uses ground mounts anyway. Who the fuck cares about companion pets. Blizzard introduces a new one, people use it for a few weeks and then it's never heard from ever again.
I got enough G to buy me enough flasks for months, enough for gems. And enough income to buy BoE epics for new chars I'm leveling.
If Blizzard truly wanted to get tanks to spam dungeons, they should have added BoE epics to the bag. Or maybe 20 additional VP.
