Argent Squires/Gruntlings turning into portable mailboxes/reagent vendors is pretty cool. Plus the pony they ride rocks.

Rogues/Druids don't give a shit about how T9 looks, nor should they.

The only issue I'm seeing are the 4 separate lockouts for the new raid zone, + the fact that bad pugs will run up against the 'retry' limit imposed on the encounters. Sounds like a recipe for drama.

The 'lucky' ones I get grouped up with like to move after they've been hit, not you know before it gets there to make sure you're out of the way and all.

This. We're not even getting access to the final boss of the colosseum until a month after it lands. That means 4 weeks before we can even start on the "heroic" version of it. I fully expect to not see Arthas until Christmas or later.

Could someone explain to me how 3 healers aren't able to keep up a tank on 10man Vezax when he's not even enraged? I mean, besides the obvious fact that none of them are healing?

And to get gear, I have to be geared, to go get gear. Okay, now I'm a noob, and I know this. I'm not perfect, I'm learning shit. I don't have anything great in terms of gear, in fact, I'm trying to run things to get gear. But no, you have to be geared to PUG anything. It's annoying as shit. How the fuck is anyone supposed to get gear, if they need gear to get it? This makes no sense to me.

Seriously though, pugs shouldnt matter at all if you know what your doing. Just start some up yourself if your having issues. Part of running in a pug is the knowledge you will eventually party with people who are fresh 80's. If they can't handle that, they are both mentally retarded and need to stick to guild only heroics.

Yeah we recently moved to this server as a guild because it is higher pop. That's great for the people who have been 80 a while and are Ulduar ready, but I just dinged three days ago and I look like shit, and no one wants to let me come.

I did actually get a guild group to go, which had a healer (since I'm too undergeared to heal at this point), but the healer ditched out with no warning, so that failed. It's frustrating. I guess I'll just have to keep trying though.

If you're talking about 5 mans, you can heal those just fine. I never got to play with you on ffxi but I have no doubt you know what you're doing in that department if you were a whm main. Unfortunately youll probably have to start groups yourself. I had to do the same, because as a DK there's a half a million of us, and damn near all of them suck ass. A week or two of heroics and you'll be ready for naxx.

Gear is great, but skill is far more important. It sounds like you're trying to play catch up with your guild, so just put your head down and deal with the pug heroics for now unfortunately. If your guild isnt willing to help you improve your gear, you may need to reconsider staying.

Yeah I think they're just busy, we merged two and it's been a bit crazy. And so far all of the Heroics I've done main heals, have failed, because I simply don't have the mana to keep up. Gonna pimp my tailoring more I guess, or try to get guild members who are patient. Either that, or normal difficulty shit, but meh.

I'm probably just overly hard on myself, as well. I tend to do that.

Wiping continuously on Freya because the raid leader misbalanced the DPS for the adds, then yelled at everyone because Stormlasher was continuously dying too soon (it was the reason we wiped on all 5 attempts... hmm) is beyond awesome.

More awesome is I gave up 2 hours of time I'd normally spend sleeping for that clusterfuck. Fuck me.

That's what I started doing after the first wipe, since Snaplasher was consistently behind the other two. Didn't help that they were screaming on Vent for people to stop DPSing at 10%, and people were all "PEWPEWPEW". -_-;

Once 3.2 rolls around heroics 5 mans become popular again, as the emblem rewards are going to jump in value. Until then, be patient, work on rep/crafts/farm, and try and get into a few of the easier heroics.

It can be hard to jump into the mix when you are behind everyone. But the coming emblem change will help accelerate your gear and catch you up fairly quickly.
