laughed out loud really hard at that.

Can people (if same faction) actually see what you're saying?
Also, can anyone explain that ... I saw him summon some big thing and pwned everyone... don't quite understand lol
EDIT: nevermind, I see what he did now after decyphering some of the comments =p ... they were hard to read initially lol
I have no idea what he just did, but that's pretty damned hilarious.
I believe he "captures" the buffs on the pet, then dismisses it.
I think this is a similar trick to the corrupted blood event/glitch where they also trap the buff on their pet? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corrupted_Blood_incident
yeah the exploit is old as dirt, just a matter of finding creative uses for debuffs not scripted to wear off when you leave combat/the instance.
Alright, that was fucking hilarious. I can only imagine the ventrilo of the team that got owned lol
Off-topic:
Queue times have gone down by at least 5 to 10 minutes over here if its the incoming patch or what I dont know.
that video on the last page is why the servers were restarted. blizz fixed it this fast rofl.
In that case for EU it restarted during 12am-2am lol.
The warning messages first came out in French.
I hopped over to the official forums to see what was going on and all people were complaining about was why it was in French ¬_¬
Adding this:
Posting on behalf of a random mage~
"Son, I know you got T11 gear and all, but that doesn't mean you can go around pulling with no CC."
followed by:
"Seeing as you're wearing blues off other none visible slots my DK's gear is way better than yours and I still use CC."
Location: Deadmines Heroic
I was with a guild healer - we landed in the random that's in progress before the 3rd boss
Situation: Except Relic and 2 Rings, all my gear is purple. My healer lagged out temporarily when I pulled the 4 lots of trash before the Wolf boss on the boat. Everyone else dies but me and I ended up spending a few mins slowly whittling them down.
He fails to notice the healer not being on the same platform as us, but had time to look at my gear and complain about no CC.
I didn't argue, as I was on vent with my mate. He chipped back the comment about the time to look at my gear and he too didn't respond.
This was followed by the mage: gettinga literal orgasm with the following 2 drops:

And then dying in the fire in the nightmare, and then the electric fences.
I would think if he got better gear than me as a "main DK tank" he would've somewhat perfected the dungeon. But ah well.![]()
Been working on Nef 25man off and on, can't get him past 35% because we have people dropping guild or taking leaves for school (tis the season). We were doing good tonight until suddenly mother nature summoned tornadoes all over the world and now people are d/cing all over. Oh well...
Rather than post this in the accomplishment thread, here goes:
So what is the big deal with only a few having it? want me to call you all fuckiing lootwhores? is that it?
Fuck the lore. A bit of the above reply, if you dont want it to be unique then paint the name purple (and be done with legendaries), last I checked people do gives a fuck about world firsts still (to some degree) and time is invested in town gear. And you got paladin tank iirc, what do you care about a caster staff anyway? You're going to kill the bosses (and do hardmodes too) anyway, what should it matter who gets the weapon?.
I get your point: 'everyone access to doing it at their own pace'; then we go back to 'replacing shit next tier' so either you want to be cool and sport the e-peen* now or you're butthurt because someone is going to play Old Republic after completing the staff.
And on my backwater server not everyone had a shadowmourne, because groups could not survive beyond saurfang or rot/fester.
*No one has ever needed legendaries to down content.
Completing the item faster on 25m works into blizzard strat of getting more people (as in general population) involved in raids, and well, having more everything drop in 25m because you have more mouths to feed so to speak.
I'm not sure what you're talking about here. The long quests that takes month to complete, the price tag, the overall effort you need to invest to get one....none of this would change.Originally Posted by Tajin
The only difference is that more than one person could work on the same weapon in your guild...Is it really gamebreaking? No, I don't think so..
It has nothing to do with me wanting the weapon. I've been playing mmo since forever, and I know that kind of shit cause more trouble than needed. It happened with relic in FFXI, and it's happening with legendary to a lesser extent.Originally Posted by Tajin
I don't give a flying shit about the mage weapons, but the fact we will have to favor one person over another annoy me. While I don't think it will create a huge issue in my current group, it's still not a choice I want to make. We will probably end up rolling since it's the only fair way to go, but it's still stupid.
Secondly, your weapon will be as rare as the quests difficulty is. If it requires hardmode, or some incredibly hard step, it will always takes a while (probably more than 2.5months) before people get them. And if world first is your bigguest issue, you could easily add a quest that takes 1 or 2 weeks to separate the "top".
That was never my point. And on my backwater server not everyone had a shadowmourne, because groups could not survive beyond saurfang or rot/fester.

I don't believe the developper should place the player in a situation where you have to decide between being fair, or efficient. This situation could be easily avoided a system that allow guild to progress in parallel on the same weapon (without slowing down everyone).
Well I'm glad you're not a developer, because you certainly have some stupid ideas.I don't believe the developper should place the player in a situation where you have to decide between being fair, or efficient.
So hotfixing necrotic strike was a huge huge deal and had to be hotfixed as soon as possible because it was horribly unbalancing the game in every way imaginable..but warriors are fine and can wait till the patch comes out around the same time C'Thulu rises from the sea, because the entire arena brackets and BGs being dominated by tons of warriors globaling down players is ok enough to wait for a patch.
I'm a little jaded since i'm a DK and blizzard loves to hotfix in all our shit, yeah NS was bullshit not getting hit by resi and needed a fix.
It's pretty typical.
Blizzard stated that druids and shaman healers were underpowered for raiding purposes, immediately hotfixed shaman with like +20% healing or something like that. Then, in the upcoming patch shaman have a new 3 minute raid cooldown to use, and their mastery is being significantly enhanced.
Druids....will get to use tranquility once more per fight.
NOT IN ARENAS WHICH IS WHAT MATTERS AMIRITE
