I hate that I have no gear.

And to get gear, I have to be geared, to go get gear. Okay, now I'm a noob, and I know this. I'm not perfect, I'm learning shit. I don't have anything great in terms of gear, in fact, I'm trying to run things to get gear. But no, you have to be geared to PUG anything. It's annoying as shit. How the fuck is anyone supposed to get gear, if they need gear to get it? This makes no sense to me.

Basically you just start at the bottom and work your way up. >_>

I did every instance multiple times through northrend. Did all the level 80 instances to gear up for heroics around 78-80. Then worked on the easy heroics like Nexus, UK and DTK. I actually healed 10 man Naxx about 2 hours after I hit 80, with two healers. It wasn't that difficult, had a few mana issues, but you just have to drink every chance you get. If you can manage to get into a 10 man Naxx with 3 healers, I'd do it. It's cake and the best way to gear up.

Good luck on Freya and Mimiron, those are probably the biggest WTFs in there as a dps in terms of having to move around a lot and change targets and etc etc; FL is DON'T STAND IN THE SHIT, XT is just like normal just more dps race+healing, IC is easy if you're not a mouthbreather and Thorim is just range checking (assuming you're not in gauntlet).

My experience is limited but good luck with fucking mimiron lol. As a melee i have a hell of a time staying behind the cannon. It moves fast.

Yeah I've done mimi before, just not Firefighter.

FL seems easy, I've done 3towers 10man.
XT i've attempted on 10man, almost killed, easy for me as far as I saw.
Hodir isn't bad, Thorim doesn't seem bad... But I can't find a good freya+3 strat and in all honestly mimi doesn't look too bad. IC I should be fine.

Freya isn't too terribly different for a DPS overall, but the added component of the Iron Roots on a random player having to be DPSed makes pressure on DPS a lot harder, especially for a DPS who has target specific effects that get dropped when you switch (CP). This is all in addition to the normal summoned healing trees and waves of adds at their usual intervals. Explosive flowers and Stormlasher are a lot deadlier with the increased magic damage buffs.

Mimi doesn't sound bad but once you get into it it's like LOL HALP I CAN'T GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT BLOWING MYSELF UP...though I suppose it is a little less pronounced for a melee. Still, it's crazier than you'd expect. Nothing to be done for that but practice though.

After attempting 10 man Freya and Mimiron Hard, I'll have to say Freya is harder.

Nerfed Firefighter is much easier than Freya+3 now.

Maybe it's just our raid comp. or something about us in particular, but I still find Knock x3 to be 1 step down from nerfed Firefighter. Maybe you find FF easy cause you run around spamming instants . Add in the fact that I play my most unfamiliar spec on FF and it's just not my favorite.

'Course, our Knock x3 "strategy" is "don't fuck it up, monkeys."

Beat me to it. official forums has a ton of QQ going on about it. I knew hunters wouldnt be able to keep it as is, but letting them keep it without abilities or a talent tree seems like a kick to the crotch lol. "here, keep your shiny, but he's completely worthless"!

Still 100x better than dealing with SE, though.
