THE TROLL MALES GET A JOHNNY BRAVO HAIRCUT SHUT UP!
:D
Damn RBGs, I wish wins gave a little more points then they do. Just started with guild doing them, hard enough to get ppl interested and then each match takes forever and we get 50-70pts for the time. Which wouldnt be too bad except when we face teams with 6 healers and a blood DK or prot warrior *trollface*
Welcome to Rated BGs. And don't worry, you'll start getting less points as you get up.. I'm lucky to get 5-10.
I know this isnt XI section but....![]()

For the lazy: Cloth/Mail BoEs, green trinkets.
Probably doesn't know about plate specialization? to be fair I was wearing some shaman healing shizzle in wrath because it was better itemized
lol @ at that pala either way
Why the fuck would they ever remove the keyring? How does having the keys back in your bags help anybody?
BLIZZARD, Y U NO MAKE SENSE
it's to make room for new UI space needed to implement "premium content"
Spoiler: show
I get the feeling the underlying implementation of the keyring is as a bagslot with special properties (just like how the currency tab in your character sheet works, but with a different UI component), and rather than reimplement it for a new UI, they'll just use the space for something users really want. Since they're getting rid of useless keys (shadowforge key, burning steppes key) they can probably free up that bagslot for...an actual bagslot. Or just a larger backpack.
It is for the dungeon journal bullshit
Annnnnd on that topic...the fuck is with this Journal? I just finished watching a gamebreaker.tv episode where they were talking about it. I like how Blizzard stated it would only give very very basic information, yet you can read about how you need to manage adds, what to do in each phase, etc etc. Hell the only thing they don't do is tell you how many healers/tanks the fight needs and give you a picture diagram of where to move.
To me, and i'm sure a lot of others, part or most of the fun of any PvE raid is figuring out just what the fuck you're doing and those first few fights on each boss where it's new and interesting and you're getting it down. Now sure, we look up the info because i'm not rolling in some top world guild, but I do like experimenting on bosses with each content patch when they are very new and don't have a hands down strategy worked out for them.
I saw the post by Paragon on the whole journal thing and it made me wonder just wtf Blizzard is doing. Why more handholding?
If they remove the keyring they need to just delete every single key in game then, because I'm not going to want to absentmindedly get to Karazhan and then realize I forgot the key, or want to run a heroic BC dungeon for rep or for a leveling friend and have to fish out the key, not to mention my bags/bank are pretty stocked as it is.I get the feeling the underlying implementation of the keyring is as a bagslot with special properties (just like how the currency tab in your character sheet works, but with a different UI component), and rather than reimplement it for a new UI, they'll just use the space for something users really want. Though I will miss having keys, to me sure it was a very passive thing, but it emerged you just a little bit into the world. And I was a fan of some of the keying quests (Kara key was pretty easy/quick and fun. And I didn't mind the BT keying.)
You should probably read the official word on the topic, they address this. No more heroic mode keys, no more karazhan keys, etc. Anything that is worth money, gone and never used again. If you have any of the following:
They'll end up in your bags, but every single one of these keys is either trivially re-acquired, consumed on use or have no use once they are spent on the quest and just clutter your bags. Also this:Grim Guzzler Key (BRD)
Secret Safe Key (BRD)
Dark Keeper Key (BRD)
Relic Coffer Key (BRD)
Jump-A-Tron 4000 Key (Nagrand)
Kolkar Booty Key (Barrens quest)
Ethereum Prison Key (Netherstorm – Blade’s Edge)
Captain’s Key (Tanaris)
Any Blacksmith keys (e.g. Titanium Skeleton Key)
Bang, 5th bagslot inc. It's also maybe worth noting that the Keyring accounts for 32 inventory slots on every character, whether they get used or not.
Spoiler: show
Bagslot will be bundled with the cross realm dungeon finder. That way they can try to snag even more people! :D :D :D
Edit:
I'm starting to get really annoyed about people signing up for shit on the calendar when I send out invites for doing ZA bear runs every week, then 1-2 people decide they want to go afk when it's supposed to start, or I ok it with them a week in advance, then another 2 days before...and then they come to me and tell me they have work or a raid..
So they removed all the nerfs to mages in pvp for their control and spellsteal....but they had to hotfix in Frost DK nerfs. Fucking jesus.
So now Nef has no enrage at all, holy shit. I mean I know it's going to be a content behind when 4.2 hits with these nerfs...but still.Nefarian's Shadowblaze cast frequency cannot increase beyond 1 per 15 sec.
Hm? He does have an enrage? He actually can go berserk if you take too long.
There's a hard enrage eventually. You're not honestly meant to reach it.
As much as I'm upset that the raids will be nerfed into oblivion.. at least now there's a possibility of alt raiding in pugs for me. Will give me something to do other than waiting for the next reset. I do think they may have gone overboard though. I just hope that they leave heroics mostly unchanged, they're meant to be hard and all the baddies shouldn't get that far easily.
I don't know about that, when ToC came out and Ulduar became obsolete I can't for the life of me remember anyone taking alts to Ulduar. But maybe that was because ToC was so easy.
That said, I'm finding plenty of non-WoW things to do since we only raid like 6-7 hours a week now. Perhaps this trend will eventually lead to quitting. Poor Blizzard, I wonder if they even realize the effect of their design choices.
Oh well, less guilt when D3 rolls around.
I don't think you will have to worry about the Heroic content being touched. As stated in a couple "blue" posts that these changes will only be applied to 10 & 25 man Normal modes. Also stated was that people who want to "see" all the tier content will be able to via normal, others who want to experience the challenge will be able to via heroic. Who knows with blizz though.
