Our group usually has a frost mage kiting the adds, with the assistance of a hunter trap he barely gets hit and does a very good job at stacking the adds, his dps suffers a little, but we have no problems on any sort of level with dps. the key is getting those adds as stacked as possible to make the kiting in p3 so much more bareable, kite the adds around the room with nef in the middle, make sure to keep rotating nef with the adds and again its cake.

5/7 days this week the JC daily has been cutting Jagged Jaspers. I'm on the wrong end of 20g/uncut Jasper at the AH. MOTHER. FUCKER.

It's the end of "half term" here for schools in the UK, basically schools have 1 week off as holiday.

From Thursday evening, I've been in about 40 BGs and I only won 2 as Alliance (our realm is heavily alliance dominated, not sure if it applies to the Battle Group) but surely this can't be just a kid thing where everyone is just unskilled in general?

In Tor Borad we failed to capture it for a very long time, and fail defending it (Horde win within 10 mins usually)

I just can't believe the extreme amount of fail that we're getting stomped all over by Horde. In AB and EoTS multiple times we lost all bases and the horde had all 5/4 controlled. In AV we couldn't even destroy 1 tower. In IoQ we couldn't capture any of the middle bases.

I guess the stigma that Alliance players are mostly kids must be kinda true now lol, but surely some sides (or realms) must be equal than others (like some realms having dominant Horde as kids), I think I heard some of you here complain about Horde sucking, so maybe I'm just in a bad group/bad luck =(

On the bright side, I nearly got enough PvP gear to make me hit 346 (except weapons) so I kinda literally bypassed gearing up on normal and heroic dungeons and can just spam troll =p

Ended up in WSG
After an epic 25 minutes where no one moaned, some chit chat with co-ordination, and at 7 mins to go we scored 1-0, then Horde quickly score 1-1, and in a final race and attempt to score, we scored 2-1 with about 35s to go, we won!

And people are back to schol tommorow...

I no longer join pvp randoms, I will only join premades. I don't pvp all too often, but the random pvp group is almost always shit. Full of cocks who can't defend our fc, or cc and focus down the oponents fc. et cetera for all other bg strategies.

I joined a random last week because I was feeling lucky. Opposing team was a full premade full of people from a top raiding guild and unkillable healers. Half our group gave up and waited in ghost form for the game to end, other half just went afk and got farmed for 20 minutes. At the end I took a look at the scoreboard and their 2 arcane mages had done 50 Killing blows each with 0 deaths, entire group had mass HK and honor.

I won't que for bg as dps alone, always with a friend or 3. But as resto I'll que alone cause it's easy hk's either way. I actually get honor pretty fast by spamming heroics and burning justice points (as heals).

Ok glad it's not just me with the seemingly shitty luck.

Boyiee: I've been doing that on DK, where I gathered enough JP to buy all the HP mounts and tabards and junk =D , but as a rogue queues are not as fast and I was desperate to by-pass the 3 ilvl 333 item dungeons so I can just literally merge into heroics/troll - it's proving to work so far. I pvp around as Subtle and DPS as Ass in heroics of up to 11k (guild 5 man run, no buff, llvl 338 pvp gear) so I think I'm on the line. I bribed our guild tank to fight Amunane in HoO and the 346 throwing thing dropped for me, I was well happy (no other 346 throwing item in heroics if I remember correctly).

Need a 346 main and off, some trinkets, then I might buy some crafted epics and I'll call it a day and strictly do trolls. Since I'm not tank I'm happy to take my chances in random trolls =p

So I que for random as healer, que pops and its a 4man guild group from my server (although I dont think they are english speaking which is weird for my server). Group has a warlock in it, he dark intent's the tank (blood dk) off the bat. At first I think to myself, lolwat but then again there is aoe so it kinda helps with aoe threat. The rest of the group is Blood dk as mentioned, fury war arcane mage and me resto sham.

So we get to the first boss and are about to pull when I notice DI is still on the tank. Welp it's useless on this fight for threat so I say "Why is DI still on the tank?" with no answer. I link Dark Intent and put a ? since maybe they aren't english. The lock replies "you have no hots/dots, and no one else." First off, lol. So I then reply thats not how it works, also the haste is good. I said to put it on me or arcane mage since anything is better than the tank. He'd get more dps out of it this way. He then replies "ignore ftw"so I reply "Ok guess you really don't understand how it works."

During the fight the warrior of theirs stands in geyser and is instagibbed, fight ends and he releases and cutscene starts so I walk to the next boss thats right there. They get mad that I didn't rez. I tell them He's a ghost already, short run, next time dont stand in geyser. They pull the faceless boss and the lock says during the fight in party chat "lets kick the shaman after this". I thought that was pretty funny, so I hearthed and watched their health get really low before leaving the party.

Not really a complaint actually, it felt great. Was able to reque right away and finish a HoO before they finished throne. Dick move, but I tried to be nice. They made the mistake.

Moved down to maryland and been away a few days, log on today to check some stuff out and notice that Hungering Cold can no longer be cast on the move on PTR and 2handed frost nerfed by 3%...awesome...guess it will just be like before and DK's now have to ride the suck train till the next patch when we'll get buffed to crazy levels again..and so it will continue because holy shit, it's so hard to make abilities do different % based dmg on players then monsters (more then just resillience does) and make every CC castable so that there's more more instant cast CC going out.

I had the best ZG group yesterday we wiped like... 10 times to cat boss, another 5 to jindo, it was basically me (tank), healer and hunter from another realm same guild, talking bullshit and having fun, the other two dps were shy or spoke no english, but never complained we fucked about so much, I've never had so much fun wiping.

This is why I like healing stuff in pvp gear, cause I do it just as well lol. ZG and ZA are really easy for me and I've got 3pc bloodthirsty, a few crafted pvp pieces, and the epic blacksmithing shield putting me just over the required ilvl lol.

Might not be able to do a bear run on it yet, but I have other toons for that.

I'm so fucking glad Blizzard was right about arena and pvp in Cataclysm and how the new health pools would make bursting down players impossible, and it would be more of a strategic style of gameplay with CC and healers. It's great that they have a clue what's going on in their own game.
