Kaylia: Oh, I dunno if it's too early to make comparisons to the Wrath model yet since we're not that "deep" into Cata, but I recall back in ICC people didn't let you go near Marrowgar unless you're 251, which is next to impossible unless you spent 5 months farming Frosties. But I do feel like players have changed slightly now in not relying on Gearscore as much, or stats seem to matter less across the board to not affect performance as much. (I don't feel much tougher tanking at 346 and 359, etc)

Samanosuke: You mean the avengers of hyjal faction/questline? Just looked at the loot list, you do indeed get a 378 cape at Friendly. But I haven't read/heard how you raise Rep with them. Is it like ICC rep?

And on second thoughts, this is nice. I'll save my efforts then and not spend JP on the VP(JP) cloaks

I don't know, the first set of raid were really easy to jump into. You could easily do it in 333-342 if people were doing the mechanics right.

Also, keep in mind there is also BH that will drop new gears. With valor to justice, it will be really easy to get yourself with 358 in most slots


About marrowgar ( or any fights), pug usually have absurd requirement that are way above what you need. It's annoying, but you can usually find one that will let you join anyway if you ask politely.

Yes, it's stupid to not ask. There is nothing to lose, especially if you know you're ready (watched the video, and are geared properly)

Seems my guild essentially died during my break. I noticed that it's been fairly quiet the last week or two I've been back, but I thought it was just me getting on for short periods at weird hours.

Should of probably started working on finding another guild for a while now. Bronzebeard's choices aren't the hottest, in both progression and style.

Alright, long story, so bare with me.

I decide I want to venture into firelands for rep/trash farming and put together a pug. I know pugs are usually shitty, dangerous and terrible but I go along and make one anyway. We all meet up at the start of the raid and I explain loot rules, what I expect of people, main tank/ot ect. We start off fine, kill the first thing np and move on down to the next, the following 30 minutes consisted of us wiping and then learning what we fucked up, but spent most time wiping. I hadn't taken part in the PTR for firelands so I came here with no idea what trash I was up against. A pattern drops, no one had the profession so I raid roll it, a warlock (Who becomes more important later on) wins it, and is rather joyful and ect. About 5 minutes later he tells me I should kick the people with worse gear and find better people, I disregard his messages.

He leaves, but not before telling the group about the players who suck and hearthstones. Now, I usually don't do dick moves. I'm usually passive. But this nigger ticked me off. I hearth and start looking for members to fill the now missing slots, I see his "[trade] wts pattern: xxx" and ignore it, nothing I can really do. But then, then he had the nerve to whisper me again.
Can't recall exactly what he said, but he threw insults at me then quickly added me to ignore so I couldn't respond. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I open trade, and under his post I type "^He ninja'd those, have a nice day". Immediately I get a whisper from an officer with asking if it was him who did it, I reply yes, then after a lengthy conversation with his GM I got him kicked. I sold him a story that he rolled for it without having the profession then quickly left.

And then something happened I did not expect, he traded 12 truegold to someone to have something made, and he ninja'd his truegold from him. Just 1 hour later.

Wow you really fucked somebody over just because he took a FFA pattern and got tired of wiping to difficult trash from baddies. Who the fuck cares if he talked trash? If i was in a group of baddies and I was tired of wiping, I would prolly just point out who sucked ass and then leave myself. No reason to continue failing when you know its obvious ppl sucking that are causing the problems.

You can't even use the argument "well he got gear" because it was a FFA pattern

I couldn't give a fuck that he won the pattern, but after he blocked communication like a pussy it was the best way to fuck him over. He himself was in no position to talk down on everyone else and me. Someone's got to teach these kids that one day you fuck with somebody you shouldn't have. And I couldn't give a shit what happens to him from here on out, I'll wake up tomorrow and forget it even happened.

He sucked just as much as the other "baddies".

Dk pvp is fun now.....probably going to shelf my fucking DK for pvp and just play my mage or warrior. UH is good pressure but the pets are fucking retarded and very easily CC'd, Frost is horrible movement wise and HC can hit maybe 1 target if you time it right and don't get interrupted. Not to mention both specs are just fucking trained down by melee now with no real hope.


Also the fuck is with not being able to buy S9 weapons on my DK who owns 2 fucking 2 handers already? I have to farm up 7k+ honor to buy some swords to try out DW frost? Fuck you blizzard, suck my dick.
