How am I ever going to get into any raid if I have to have experience first? You'd think guildmembers would help other guildmembers but I guess not.

Stopped doing those already, can't be fucked with a 30 day grind which includes the most boring quests ever.

And to people doing PuG raids the only advice I can give you is this: Make your own damn runs. It really does pay off most of the time. Ask for item level 346+. Ask to see their achievement and if they understand any fights they haven't tried yet ect. Most people will lie through their teeth but you can always boot them if they suck, cause you're leading.

This week I did BoT, BWD and ToTFW with my Paladin and my selfmade pug. We wiped once on ascendant council because the mage used heroism in phase two. It was also then I realised he was only doing 7k dps and kicked him(surprisingly no one spoke up and alerted me to a dps doing worse than tanks..). We damn near wiped Maloriak, we wiped Al'akir once but that was because I lagged and got caught in a tornado.

It's always more difficult to start a raid when you haven't experienced the fight yourself (should still know the encounter tho), but the first week, you can simply ask for less experienced players who don't have the achievement themselves. If you talk to players and filter out retard, you can end up with a solid progression group of people in a similar situation.

Anshal is the hardest boss in cata according to everyone on windrunner.

Not really a complaint per se but more of a /facepalm moment. Doing the Hyjal daily where you have to kill 6 of the elites, and i had Hemet Nesingway as my "guest" npc. fucker was flying in the air on his mammoth, instead of taking to the air on his proto-drake. Funny as shit to see that mammoth glide across the sky, but GD great job with quality control blizzard. Glad we have PTR for a reason lol.
