CoS is one of the easier instances to tank as paladin. Being able to actually use Holy Wrath is win. The trash zombies die from it outright, and the group zombies will be dead by the time stun wears off.

Yeah it was a focus fire type situation. the pally would grab a group of mobs, mark one, and the mage would fire off at a random mob, using his single target rotation at it. In my eyes, that's sort of asking for death imo.

If a paladin can't hold hate from blizz alone, they're doing something wrong.

Double flamestrikes rolling with blizzard ok, you're allowed to lose hate after a few seconds.

Blizzard alone? Suicide is the only option.

If I can tank all the 5 mans and pull 3-4 packs at a time (in naxx 10 gear) and not lose threat as blood, I don't think there's much any DPS going to be able to do to pull it off me other than a rogue using tricks on a mage and FOK. My guild's rogues regularly tricks me and get me killed like that on trash on my mage =(.

It's always a lock too.

I've lost Manifested Pain to a lock in few 200 epics and blues and greens who was there for one attempt and died to a void zone.

I was in a Naxx pug trying to pick up gear for my feral drood yesterday. I joined a run that had Patch already dead it in, so I figured, eh...can't be that bad.....omg we wiped to ANUB 3 fucking times because the tanks never moved, and then Maexxna wipe too, then I left. I think it's fate not to have feral gear.

Classic strategies called for kiting him around the outside of his slime moat, but if the tank is geared properly you can just healbomb him through the swarm.

DPS has to stop during though because swarmed tank = 0 TPS.

I decide to switch to blood spec since 3.2 is going to introduce an assload of new gear, which of course has arPen on all of it. sooo i find out if i want to be anywhere near decent i have to go back to naxx and try to get a grim toll, which is a random, low rate drop off 4 bosses in there. Everytime i get out they pull me back in, etc etc.

I go and of course no drop. Fuck you naxx, fuck you.
