What the fuck is going on in fucking pugs on the weekends.. jesus christ. I've not come across a single dps doing above 10k even though they are well capable of it. 15% buff and in 346+ gear without pulling that much is fucking pathetic.

makes me want to quit getting vp on my main tbh

Adding valor to raid eliminated almost every decent players from the dungeon queue. At this rate, they are going to need to rethink the dungeon finder system.

Trust me good players arn't running old dungeons to cap their VP each week, they'll get it from firelands bosses & BH and the occasional filler pug if they need to quickly cap VP pre raid for a piece of teir.

Weekends are typically when all the shit starts spamming dungeons because they have more free time.

I don't believe you need to be 7/7 to be considered "good" in a 5 man dungeon. Anyone who know his rotations and understand the fights is going to do just fine.

I don't know what game you're playing, but there is players who perform decently while not being in a guild that raid fireland. You can be in level 333 gears and do over 10k easily, and it should only improve from that point. When the average dps do 8k in a normal heroic with lv350 gears, there is problem. Sadly, it seem to be the norm lately, and players who can perform as good as their gears is are slowly disappearing

I replied to Arcana because his post implied that good players already cap their valor point (or get close to it) in fireland. Yes, it's true for some of them, but you don't need that kind of performance to breeze throught 5 man. Any competent players with the minimum gear requirement should be able to perform above the level we see lately.

I would not be surprised if a lot of firelands-capable people were shocked by the bad pugs in the first 2-3 weeks and have since learned to make guild dungeon groups to cap on VP. And of course a lot of guilds are going to be 6/7 normal by now.

I definitely dread pug random heroics for VP on my alts now...way too painful. I tend to do guild group random heroics when I can, or just don't cap for the week.

Edit: I also think it's kind of remarkable that back in January~ when I sometimes ran dungeons as moonkin, my terrible gear/spec moonkin was putting out 12-13k, but I've come across random pugs in dungeons with gear fully a tier higher and the luck of the draw buff giving them 10% extra damage that are well short of 10k.

^try having a 364 ilvl warlock in your main raid group that does 9k on shannox. why is he kept? the leader's GF wanted a warlock around for the buff for her spriest. I'm convinced 99% of the WoW community is completely braindead.

Two weeks ago = one shot shannox
Last week = 3 hours to kill shannox

Why? The paladin healer who is sexually attracted to crystal prison traps. Pesonal friend of the husband+wife combo that leads our raids

Wtb raiding guild that runs on my schedule and gives a shit/enforces individual performance minimums.

took us 3 hours friday, 1 hour yesterday to kill shannox. so still got you beat lol. i've gone hoarse screaming at people, BEGGING them to group up so me and the rogue aren't chasing rageface around trying to kill him off, but no dice. they'd rather run when they get aggro like it fucking matters.

Had a mage doing 9k on omnotron of all places, with all the extra pieces from the molten front dailies/firelands reputation and the regular 359 loot a mage usually has.

random dungeon, got in a group with THE most shitty DK dps i've ever seen. Unholy DK average DPS 4k, on 1 boss he did 2.6k DPS, he was on frost presence the whole time. In the beginning he was DPS'ing as blood spec before I told him to switch to a DPS spec... and yet this shitty ass group refuse to kick the DK saying "how he suppose to get gear" bullshit, i told them it's not gear problem, but they just wont kick him. Carried his ass through the whole thing >.>

my complaint: I need to drop enchanting/alch and get fucking tailoring/eng for the sp buffs they give. fucking annoying.
