Random Complaint Thread

My guild was a little slow out of the gates and only managed 9/12 in the first Cataclysm tier because of scheduling/recruitment/real life issues. So we have 7 on tonight and plan to go kill Nef, we grab some pugs and get rolling. Now, we're just learning the fight for most of us, particularly our tanks, but god damn people are fucking impatient. Every 2 wipes I had to hearth and grab more pugs to replace the ones that left.

We even had 2 people leave after a 500k wipe. The fuck is that about?

Its not as if Nef is a short fight. it can take anywhere beyond 12mins and perhaps they didnt have the time to wipe even more.

It's true that people are incredibly impatient, but Nef is so easy now they probably felt that your group was not well prepared (nobody read the strats, a few individual were performing really poorly,etc). I disagree with rage quit, and prefer to give constructive criticism if i have done the fight before, but I can understand the frustration of people joining a "progress run" that should be on farm status by now.

my complaint: wtb a healer for our 10 man raid. After ours ditched because he missed his friends from his old guild, we haven't been able to find a good healer and its so frustrating

Complaint: I hate having to do RBGs with the secondary team after signing up for the first team because the leader wanted to get a few pugs in that were friends of a friend of a friend in the raid or some shit. Wish I could just find a solid group that was good, but then again I play on Moon Guard so dems the breaks.

Silently raging at Ragnaros Normal. I don't expect people to be 100% brilliant at everything. But people getting hit by Lava waves before 70% makes me want to throw my pc screen out the window.

How the fuck do they fail at that? It has like a three second cast time, clearly visible along the ground close to melee or tanks and all you have to do is move so you're diagonal with it. Halfway through these wipes and pondering what the fuck is going on one of our Resto shamans announced he plays in first person view. Not sure if trolling. Every 5 attempts or so we'd have a "good attempt" and get past the add phase. People still eventually fuck up and let a tank die/stand in Sulfuras smash.

Worst fucking part is I'm stuck on the wrong character for this shit, since two of our tanks are on holiday. Best attempt after 3 hours of wiping was 48%.

Oh yeah, we recruited a brother of a raider because he said he would tank for us. We invite him and need his mage for the first week (His mage is his main), GL promotes him to raider rank and then we find out his Prot paladin is SHIT. His healer is moderate, barely passable for firelands.

And last week I watched him win 2 items I've wanted since getting into firelands -.-

Did 25man normal ragnaros last night and to be fair i think we managed to kill it by luck. We had around 13+ people who havn't killed him before and only know tacts from watching videos, regardless of knowing what was coming people were still getting hit by smash & lava waves and on the kill attempt we had a moonkin die to lava wave above 70% we said fuck it and let him lay there the entire fight. Best part of the night was watching the sheer ammount of fail from moving out of engulfing flames one attempt had half the raid get hit by and die to it.

Are you completing the quest that involve capturing babies firehawk and eggs? If I understand what the npc say, you have to get a baby on the first day, it grow up on the second day for the bombing run, then dies. That's why you normally get the bombing run every other day.

I have had the egg quest 6 times in a row now, either the NPC is lying and he's making a fucking omelet with my eggs or something is up.

Nothing else to spend the marks on. Basicaly 1 day's worth of dailies = tiny bit of DE materials. And enough cash to buy 10 more of said DE materials. Lame.

In that case, tonight, will be my last run on the dailies on 3 chars

All 3 chars will get the hippy mount

Then I'll stop dailies on the 2 alts and randomly do them when I'm bored for the cache>pet. Else, I'll continue the argent tournament ones to finish up the pet/mount collection there.




It's so liberating to suddenly get so much free time lol. Maybe I'll pimp my paladin up then, for some reason I am liking the roulette rotation that is Ret Paladin.

They could have given out a green item, a bit of cash, chance at a gem/potion/flask like the bag of exotic mysteries minus the minipets/mounts. Or some consume-on-use "fun" items like the snowballs that come in the vrykul bag when doing the polar bear dailies. Or at the very least, how about an ilvl 346 green that might be of some use.

Nope, here's your 308 green.

Also I will go ahead and cast doubt on that 40% figure, wowhead only has record of the cache being opened 5 times.
