Looks like low-level pvp...hunters and rogues are both retarded in low-level pvp.
shield of righteouss 1 shot people
Lost a 3's match because it came down to feral vs our warrior, feral was at 30% hp, warrior at full, but the feral just kept getting pred swiftness procs and cloning the warrior and healing up till he wittled the warrior down.
Needs to be a longer fucking time between pred swiftness procs....I can watch them get one every 4-5 seconds when beating on me or a teammate.
Ragequit WoW again, I can't commit to raiding because of the job (and lack of a guild atm) and similar reasons for not caring for 85 PvP, so leveling alts, mostly through PvP, is my thing. If it was somewhat balanced, I'd be a long-term WoW player, I could level and delete toons over and over again, it's got perma-replayability for me. But fuck, PvP is just retarded. A Blood DK just hit my 64 rogue (highest level of the bracket and has BoA helm/cloak/shoulders/chest/ring/weapons...) for 4662 damage + 1161 overkill with a single death strike. My rogue has 5995 hp unbuffed. So just an icy touch and a DS crit kills me. My priest got hit with MS for 1700 and they have 2900hp buffed at level 47 yesterday. You can't heal through that. And I'm not enchanting every single fucking piece of gear I have and using food/elixirs/etc. just to MAYBE survive in a fucking BG.
The most annoying thing is that it's an easy fix. Give everyone base hp earlier. Instead of 20-30k a level from 80-85, make it so everyone has 1500hp at level 15, 10k hp at 45, 20k at outland, etc. Won't change anything about 85 balance, won't require massive tweaks into decreasing the damage of every ability, and it's not like PvE leveling is hard to begin with anyway. This way every level uses the Cata model of PvP. My priest can already have mana troubles and he doesn't even get to heal many people since they fall over dead so often, I'd go oom hard if people had hp to heal! I'd love the game if they worked like that. But until then...I'm out again.
tuesday nerfs cant come soon enough. wiping 100+ times to normal rag is nuts. Any fight beyond 2 phases and 99% of people can't handle it.
I probably already made a post about this, but it's getting to me again. My 2s partner has a mic, and refuses to use it. He'll type when he's CC'd into party chat when it happens, am I supposed to be able to react to that? I think it's kind of bullshit that I'm expected to keep an eye on that chat log all match just to see if something got him (ie cyclone).
It doesn't help that we're running Healer/DPS 2s, kinda requires chain-cc. I have to wait and hope for him to use his so I can get mine at the perfect time, if I ask the cd on his I won't know until he types "____ sec" in party chat.
8 bosses? With the last 2 being the same boss split into 2 fights so that they don't have a 20+ minute encounter?
Really, Blizzard?
^ to add, if the last fight is in any way as chaotic as they make it seem, I'll never get all my raid members to stay connected for more than 10 seconds in that fight. Alot of people have bad connections/computers, and when you have 4 dragon aspects in an aerial dogfight in the middle of the maelstrom, the action putting pressure on people's CPU is going to shut down so many computers its unreal. I can't even imagine stepping foot in that fight in 25 man. Hell, 3 of my people aren't stable in the ragnaros fight, deathwing has me concerned.
^ This
Shit, people d/c all the time fucking fighting Rhyolith, hell even my fps goes down a little during the fight at certain times when all the sparks/fragments/oozes and volcanos are up at once.
get a new 2's partner, I hate when people cant communicate in arena, or don't follow direction. I've kicked 2 people off my 3s team because when I said to hard swap they ran off and beat on some random target on their own because they saw they were low, but never said anything about it..and they did it constantly. So hard to find people on a RP server who can pvp with half a brain.I probably already made a post about this, but it's getting to me again. My 2s partner has a mic, and refuses to use it. He'll type when he's CC'd into party chat when it happens, am I supposed to be able to react to that? It's not just pvp that's broken, the damage in general is just massively unbalanced all the way up to level cap. My 80~ blood dk (in blood presence mind you) kills things significantly faster than my mut rogue or spriest at the same level/ilvl, how does that make any sense?
Low-mid level hunter has been pretty broken since the pre wotlk patch, the pets had (at the time) higher survivability than tanks, and the damage was just absurd compared to other classes. I was soloing leveling dungeons at the level you would normally do them in a group.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT...FIX THE GODDAMN RAM EVENT.
It's been buggy like this every year that the event has been going on SINCE IT STARTED. and yet you still have to run by the apple barrels 10x to get the fatigue reset, and still have to circle the 2 NPCs a dozen times until you get a keg thrown to you, or throw the keg to the NPC.
Wouldnt be bad if it was just something that came up, but for it to happen every single goddamn year, and yet it's never fixed or even mentioned.
My buddy was able to jump off his ram and mount his flyer, and the npc threw the keg to him lol. He just completed the thing with his flying mount. Was pretty funny.
Lost an entire days worth of doing the Brewfest Ram, got the quest, hit the reins and the quest just dismounted me. Holy fucking christ Blizzard.
my guild has asked me to go holy for my paladin since we can't seem to get 3 healers on consistently for our 10 mans. The guild is new, with new toons (most are rerolls from other servers) so we need an extra healer on some of the fights - most of us just returned and haven't done firelands at all but we've just started trying.
I've never done any primary healing - other than on DNC in ffxi - so this should be interesting. It's just a bit disappointing since I've put a lot of time and resources into my ret spec since I got it to 85 about 2 weeks ago.
I could just heal maybe through a 1 hour party session in FFXI.
On WoW I can't heal for shit. Way too fast paced for me to keep up lol.
My Holy Paladin gear is better than my Ret gear tho I think! (which is my offspec)
I've been randomly collecting paladin holy gear in the event I want to try it one day lol
