I usually avoid 1 year subscription like plague, but somehow, I get the feeling that I'm still going to be playing WoW, and would probably have bought D3. Seem like a decent deal. Mount and beta, I don't really care.

I've got 3 months free from customer support. Debating grabbing the Yearly @ 6month intervals for 77$. I don't know if it'll bill me now or in January since thats when my free months end. The first payment is pretty much for Diablo lol.

I have been playing since vanilla and one of my fav items i have been using up to today is noggaholic elixier, and i am wondering why we cant mount while skeleton

Our animation system does not have animations for some costume models that can be on a mount so we decided to completely disallow mounting while transformed to make it consistent, it was the only way to fix hundred of bugs.

Why can I mount as a skeleton pirate, or just a regular human pirate or in a bunch of other costumes? For that matter why would it bug out since the skeleton shares the exact same animations and figure as undead males to begin with...LET ME MOUNT AS A SKELETON GODDAMNIT.

Just caught sight of some guy we pugged in a raid a couple of months ago who couldn't do more than 6k DPS on Shannox as Cat, we accused him of being an eBay Char but ...

He is now riding around Stormwind showing off the Ragnaros mount ... I really wonder if he "brought" it ...

Fucking lol. That's all I can think of during these Q&A panels. Who the fuck puts a mic in front of these people and doesn't pull it away the moment they speak.

my guild is pissing me off now. We managed to down Alysrazor and Beth on hc to put us up to 5/7 hc, and have spent the last 4 hours fucking up baleroc hc.

Then the icing on the cake. "Read up on ragnaros hc because he's next". We just lost two core members, our DPS took a major dive, we've only just killed some of these heroic modes once or twice AND YOU WANT TO FUCKING TRY RAGNAROS HC? we don't even consistently down rhyolith hc each week. there's a goddamn reason 14 other guilds on our realm are stuck at 6/7 hc.

Never actually done this to a guild before but if they do rush in to Rag HC thinking they will get it eventually I will ninja d'c and go do something more productive.

also this kung fu panda shit is making me want to throw up. i'll be cancelling sub sometime after defeating normal mode deathwing in 4.3.

I don't get why people are calling this "Kung Fu panda shit". I, Meresgi, who complain about EVERYTHING see this next expansion as actually being fun and a great change to what has been bringing down the game as a whole if they keep most of what they revealed at Blizzcon. Hell panderan have been in the game for a lot longer then the movie Kung Fu panda has been out.

@ Morth, I know where you're coming from. My guild is constantly butting heads against H-Beth and H-Bael but we havnt even tried H-Domo. We can 1 shot Shannox, Ryo and Alys each week w/o major problems and can get H-Beth to 10% usually before it all falls apart and H-Bael to 10% before enrage...no clue why we arnt doing Domo...

I didn't play WC3 and I've not heard even a slight blip of pandaren lore in WoW up until now. The only thing I've seen is the non combat pet. So yeah, Pandaren, even if they came first are still kung fu fucking pandas.

I don't mind panda as a race, but lore wise, there is thing I would have preferred to see before them.

But other than that, this expansion has a lot of promising content. Time trials is definitively something I would like to do (especially if its cross server and we can do it with a BG team). Pokemon should be cool as well...I loved pankration in FFXI even if it was a total pain.

humanoidfishfrogs (murlocs)
humanoidcows (tauren)
humanoidwolves (worgen)
humanoidotherbears (furbolg)
humanoidcatpanthertigers (ramkahen)
humanoidbirds (arakkoa)
humanoidtrees (treants and such)

Okay I think I could pull like 3-5 more at least (maybe more than that even).

I really think anyone bitching about Pandas just really wants to bitch (or is just looking for an excuse to cancel their account). Just cancel the account because you aren't having fun with your guild / the game. Cancelling it because they added pandas? Really? C'mon...

As for your guild, eh...I agree it's probably a waste of time and a guild that's not even 6/7H yet probably won't be killing H-Rag before he gets another nerf hit, but I think they'll figure it out fast enough, and it may be kinda fun seeing the fight at least, so why not just give it a chance, then argue against it. Ninja logging is pretty damn lame.

As a side note, I'm pretty sure you'd heard nothing about Ramkahen until now, but that was okay.
Draenei pre-TBC were essentially just burning legion lackeys with 0 "goodness" in them. Then TBC came out, Blizzard altered the story to make it fit, and tada, nobody complains about it today.
Pandaren have a solid basis in Warcraft lore, but they've been neglected up to now in WoW. If you read the lore....

The pandaren are originally from central Kalimdor where they established the Pandaren Empire. They were allies of the night elves until they saw their obsession with magic getting out of control. The clans severed ties and left Kalimdor behind eventually establishing a new home on an island they named Pandaria. After the Sundering, some pandaren returned to the "new" Kalimdor to explore it. "Where once the pandaren were a mighty empire, standing proud beside their night elf allies, now they are a simple people who want only peace and a safe home."

Woah what's that, it makes sense they haven't been talked about much because they -gasp- left the entire areas in which WoW takes place? Cool. It'd definitely be much better if while walking through Stormwind, everyone were talking about Pandarens, even though they haven't been around for some 10,000 years.
