Yeah, the right course of action would probably be to fuck them for their chance at world firsts, especially since this kind of cheating is pretty much plain laziness.

You could accomplish pretty much the same by having, say, 1 caster, 1 tank or plate dps, and 1 rogue, making sure they're on different tokens, then just fill the other 22 spots with alts and get full sets for everyone in the group, it would just take a few days (if that, probably takes them like 20 mins for a guild run of LFR).

That's what they all intended to do, then they found this bug and decided to abuse it, apparently pretty damn extensively.

Also paragon had a post on their main page saying they "didn't know if it was a bug or just mechanics," dunno if it's still there or not but that made me want to punch something.

What the fuck at the Automatic entry to LFR groups? Should be an option for it, because if I'm not at my computer, I don't want to be put in front of a raid boss while afk..

72 hour bans is all they gave Ensidia for their Saronite Bombs kill and all they gave Exodus for their Yogg-0 kill. They're too terrified to punish raiders any further than that unless they do truly egregious things like removing walls in AQ40 or using Martin Fury.

I've never been auto-entered, it always gives me a choice just like LFG and BG que's. Check your interface maybe you have some weird option checked.

The pre-Deathwing Neltharion model complete with body ruptures and metallic jaw/plates is just laugh-out-loud ridiculous.
I know that this might be a bit tough to swallow for some, but the use of the current Deathwing model in that scene was a matter of efficiency. A ton of work went into 4.3, and we squeezed in as much as we could, but it didn't make sense to dedicate the huge resources it takes to create a custom model for that one cameo, and we were concerned that using a generic black dragon model wouldn't have the same immediate value of recognition.

Soooo, they couldnt copy and paste Nefarion's model from BWL and just rename it Deathwing and instead copy and pasted the regular death wing model to make it look ridiculous story-wise o_O

Pretty much this, exploiting during cutting edge raiding has been going on every tier since BWL and AQ40.. Hello world first c'thun with ooze pets pushing the debuff off the 40 raid members making the fight significantly easier..

Not all fucked up with armor. You clearly see his armor being put on inside deepholm during the first Cata trailer and all.

got rags down last week, I thought I was higher on the dps than I should have been, but was like whatever, run seemed pretty smooth altogether

got first 4 in DS with little issue this week, was pretty psyched thinking it might be easy enough for us to get deathwing down

2 raid nights of wiping to ultrax in which we've had 0 attempts where nobody died to stupid shit and I'm beginning to question.

I never did the old stuff when it was new but damn it felt lackluster and boring when I was. I heard a huge chunk of fans heard about firelands and said fuck it as well.

I never understood that complain. Fireland had very little rehashed content unless you count Ragnaros' name (since he has a new model). You fought Ragnaros once in Molten Core while he was being summoned, and you fight him a second time in his elemental plane. It's two differents raid.


Firelands had its flaws, but I liked it more than many raids. The biggest issue was the 6 months gap between its release and the next raid.

Well, while DS feels like a nice, epic environment with all the battles going on, I think the whole raid is close to 90% reused content.

From maps to models, there is nothing new besides the Madness Deathwing one, which is pretty embarassing given it's the last raid of the expansion. You really can't make any comparison with Sunwell or ICC, can you?
