Edit: scratch that last complaint, I figured it out.
That said, wtf at random normals only picking between 3 dungeons? Doing my 7 a week to get JP isn't exactly exciting to begin with, but only doing the same 3 is just mind numbing after a while.
The sad thing is, pvp might be somewhat more balanced if they put it back. Since most comps that are out of control are all the ones with 1-2 classes stacking crit. Had they kept the same system we might have gotten the pvp they promised us at the start of Cataclysm.
If only resilience scaled against the damage players can do at this ilvl @_@
Anyone have the Vial of Shadows or encountered a rogue with it since the "nerf"?
Get out of that hole as soon as possible, or offer boosts in trade if you're tank for 80-83s
Buy some BoE (crafted or not, i.e. pvp blues which are 377) gear, do the first part of the fireland dailies (can be done in 30 mins or less) to get some 365s and unlock heroics (346) at least, then get ilvl to 353 as soon as possible to unlock the last heroic (which are only the 3) but they are quick to do.
The current state of resilience is overall more damage reduction than the old versions. I think at this point arena is past the point of no return as far as balance goes, maybe MoP will solve that.. but I doubt it.
I don't have vial, but from what I've seen and faced the nerf is pretty significant. You aren't getting randomly gibbed by rogues opening on you solo in a bomb.. but that's about it. Cunning on the other hand, needs to still be looked at
I have no fucking idea why the other two proc trinkets weren't looked at, there are SSs on AJ of the cunning hitting people for 60k in full 4k+ resil. Blizzard is seriously fucking stupid, the reason vial is so good is that it synergizes with find weakness way too well.
vial has a 25 sec internal cooldown that lined up nicely with dance. The fact that rogues get 70% armor pen during dance, and vial being a physical ability, coupled with 30k ambushes on plate, inside a bomb that made the target unhealable.. you get where this is going.
Cunning is more a problem with locks (mainly) and Spriest than it is mages because it scales with shadow damage. affliction locks have a passive 30% shadow spell dmg increase, on top of curse of elements and yada yada. spriest has around 19% passive shadow spell damage increase. A PvE trinket should not be a players #1 damaging ability at the end of an arena game. After season 9 Blizzard put a minimum on conquest points before people could buy T1/T2 weapons because it was retarded in PvE. Why a trinket can decide games in PvP is beyond me.
edit: that 69k crit on AJ was on a warriors tentacle. people are still seeing 40k~ from heroic versions so knock a bit off for lfr/normals
Not being able to clear Spine/Madness cause 1 Resto Shaman decided he didnt want to put the effort into heroics after a single less than 2hour night of Heroic Morchok (yes we killed him) and the other Resto Shaman's getting routinely disconnected during Spine attempts that we had to call the raid for the week.
We actually started the night on an upbeat, knowing that we are going to get a little push forward in 10 days with the new ICC buff coming in. It could be enough to keep us interested in continuing to play as we are all quite past bored with the instance. But now ... I do not know. Anyone got a resto shaman that doesn;t suck?
I could swear someone with a resto shammy just left their guild and was moaning about it here; but that was like a month ago.
Guild raiders are so terrible we actually are reverting from a 25 to a 10man, where the elite do a 10man and then play alts in the 25 along with the less then stellar players since we still have people herp derping around.
thats what i did on my hunter, moved my 396 hunter to heroic content guild, use my 392 lock to raid with instead.
In LFR (mainly) it's annoying if both of the swords drop (1 hander/2 hander)
I won 2 hander as tank, a bunch of whispers come at me saying "U TANK!!!" or "can i have it"
Like you're going to give me the one hander had I said the same thing if someone wins it. heh
Both sides can't win, I suppose.
EDIT: best thing to do is really, just run(leave) in my opinion. Can't win any additional arguments. A 60k DPS arms Warrior took the cake by asking if I needed it (he had one). I suppose he wanted it for fury, but eh.
but on that note, time to go arms Warrior and work this baby out.
What the fuck.
I went home to Norway over Christmas, came back to find that the entire guild (including GM and all officers) left to play SW:TOR together... It's me and a rogue left. FML. Seriously, so annoyed.
