Had half my guild quit over the past week. fucking hate this game and everyone on it.

I was going to bitch about that last week, but I got 3 different guild invites after joining random pugs since then. One of them actually has 5/8 heroics progress, which is more than my old guild

My guild finally disbanded, been together since 4.0 but as of late attendance was poor and people got mayad. one thing that's bugged me though, about 3 weeks before I decided to take a break from raiding. I doubt I was the actual cause of the entire guild break as I played a DPS role. But.. the guild leader got the 400k out of bank, all the gems, most of the boes and shit and mailed them equally to "raiders"

I didn't get anything except for two shitty recipes, everyone else got at least 40k and epic gems.

If the game wasn't so old and stale at this point I might care enough to push for a BG guild, but now? eh. Everyone is spread way the fuck out over the servers, and I've seen 3/4ths of the content, trust me, it's not worth seeing.

You see, every posters (including myself) are elitist prick. While I'm sure we could make a competent guild that go for server first, I also think that we wouldn't last more than 18 minutes together. At least, assuming everyone act like we do on this forum.

Doesn't help that everyone is fed up with the game and just want an excuse to quit either.

I'd love to see a BG guild, though you guys are probably right about it not working. At least, it probably wouldn't be viable until MoP comes out in any case when people actually wanna play again and there's new shit to do.

So here's a kick to the balls: My guild which jumped to Stormrage a few months ago just decided that they want to jump again, this time to Area 52 AND faction change later this morning after maint/restart. I however don't feel like blowing the $40 or w/e it is just because they're tired of a new server already. The thing that sucks? If I cap guild rep this week I'll be ~1k away from exalted. Goodbye dark phoenix

Horde side I suppose? There is like 20 alliances, and they are mostly alt.

I'm not exactly sure why they want to jump, but Area52 has been nice to me so far. It's really easy to find pug, and most are competent (went 8/8 before the nerf, and heroic morchok isn't uncommon). No idea why a whole guild would want to move here tho.

The thing is though, Area 52 is apparently exactly like Stormrage, only here it's all ally with a very tiny horde population. 8/8 in pugs with the occasional H Morchok seems to be what I see a ton of here too. So... same shit, but with a bad case of the fuglies (except BE, only good looking horde there are :<)

I have to agree. I thought this mound would be the achievement for all of Dragon Soul achievements done....not a store bought mount. So instead we get a recolor of the alexstraza mount from a raid full of copy pasta >_<

Really? ... I kind of guessed it, but still rather disappointed in it. I do like the Winged Guardian, and I'd love to have Chromatic.. but goddamn I'm not spending money on a mount that'd just get added to my random macro with my other "favorites". =/

Leveling a new char with Heirloom cape/head is making me rage. I can't get into stonecore or any of the ones higher than that at 84, because my head and cape are item level 1 and holding me back. I did have a green head/cloak to help me enter the dungeons but on my usual bag cleaning sweep I sold both to a vendor.

Why can't the ilevel of heirlooms rise as their level does? -.-

I worked out a theory why at 84 it won't let you in the "top 3", from a previous post. It is what I've noticed while levelling. Even if you hit the ilvl to get into the other 3, the following will likely happen:

At 84, unless you're looking for a specific dungeon, you're thrown into the "random" pool. This random pool usually consists of people still with ilvl 260~ gear.
Even if you hit the ilvl to enter the 3 new dungeons, 99% of the people at 84 will most likely not have the ilvl
As a result, the tool throws you with/into the other people at 82-84
At 85, when queueing for none heroic dungeons, it seems to prioritise 85s only and only looks under that at 84. I've noticed I randomly encounter level 84s in those 3 dungeons, but very rarely.
At the beginning of Cata, the above scenarios were less encountered, as everyone was still levelling up, and no one had heirloom cloaks/hats

Even if you queue with 2-3 level 85 friends, the game will still throw you into the lower dungeons (StoneCore, Throne, Vortex) because you're 84, and will use the rules of the lowest level char in the party to determine the logic.

This was observed from countless boosts with friends, as I have 3 tanks.

Took off my auth last night, as I was installing a new rom on my phone. I fell asleep without putting it back on, and my account got hacked.

Bastards work quickly, and sold all my holy gear to vendors and starting mining on my main.

Turns out, I logged in while they were still mining. Had a log in dual with them, and changed my password.

Got everything restored, and blizzard left all the mining material on my toon for "your troubles". Just sold it all for 41k profit lmao

Guild bitching at me because I dont have at least 3 epic gems in my gear. I have 2 and then 3 JCing gems..meanwhile the same people bitching at me have gathering professions.

Fuck you, you want to min/max me while you sit at a potential -80 bonus to your MAIN fucking stat? Resto druid told me skinning was a great profession for him because crit was buffed for healers.

Also no idea why they are even min/maxing. Some people are still below 30k on Ultraxion 25 heroic, that's not gonna go up 10k with some fucking epic gems. People need to be coached on their class instead of just told to throw money at their problems.
