it's eerie how dead my realm has become over the past couple days. Anyone else feeling this? It's like everyone's jumped ship to diablo.
This game feels neglected.
but "We promise not to repeat the mistake of last expansion making you guys do the same content for a year!". And yet, here we are.
They need to release an OS type deal. Seriously.
lol, there's at least another 3.5 months of nothing but dragon soul, likely closer to 6
If it's middle of September that would be 5 months, which I do believe is closer to 6 than to 3.5.
The real key is that the buff went to 20% at the start of May, it's going up 5% per month, and it goes to 40%.
Anyway, as if that's not complaint enough, here's a little more direct one:
So my group is still struggling with boat (we did have a 56k wipe the one time we got really cleanly into p2, except that one dps was down for whole phase lol...).
We did some mathing and figured out... Twilight Barrage, and Twilight Onslaught are both unaffected by the DS nerf. Both in their damage to players, and their damage to the boat. So yeah, while we do have the advantage of adds dying faster and tank healing being a little easier, in terms of maintaining the boat and dealing with the coordination to keep people from getting 1 shot without letting loads of barrages through (i.e. the part of the fight that's actually hard) the shit is still the same as when the really good guilds were doing it.
Plow: Yeah we're stuck on the boat too lol
However, I've noticed if the fire isn't in dumb places, we can easily get into P2.
Also, as much as it's unhealthy to do so, I can gaurantee that we will get to P2 if I tank (as DK) in DPS gear lol. But then I get raped in P2 by Devastate.
Devastate stacks build up so quick. During the time we did get into P2 for once, By the time we swapped tanking, I had 3 stacks and the other tank, also on 3 stacks, had maybe 20s on the debuff![]()
oh ur right sorry I was thinking september was 10 not 9 lol
anyway I don't expect it til sometime november-january, same as every expansion thus far
Our dps is actually good, we generally have wait times between every set of adds and stuff. We just have people dying to barrages fucking constantly, and yeah really tough times coming out of onslaught when there's a lot of fire around it.
Are you doing it on 10man or 25man Plow? I know for 25man it seems to be very easy but 10man with the lack of 15 extra bodies is gauged wrong in my eyes.
yeah 10 man, if we were failing this bad on 25 I'd give up on life lol
Got home about 0330hours, changed out of my work clothes and logged in, psyched to finish Loremaster, as I had 36 more quests left.
Log in and the first thing I see is a server message advising that the server will be shut down in 15 minutes.

Well, now I've got 33 more quests (fucking travel time). Goddammit.
MMO Champion puts up monk abilities preview video....
It's a fucking human female...
can't see it yet, at work
Is there new animations for the variety of kicks and punches they get?
This is really important for an off project of mine, haha.
Why must people bitch and throw a fit when their tier gear doesn't turn out to be exactly tailored to what they want?
I'd say because the game is 100% focused on acquiring the gear, so from that standpoint, people want to acquire shit they think looks good and not just "eh, that's ok". Sure transmog is in the game now, but for how long do people just want to wear one tier of armor over and over and over?
Has anyone ever had issues with people starting the Madness encounter despite the raid not being full or in no condition to start? Some guys saw need to wipe my LFR group 4 times, this is a new low for LFR, at least as far as my experiences are concerned.
Happens pretty regularly to me. Not just the Madness encounter, but probably that one more that than any other.
Funniest was probably when the raid leader intentionally wiped at the feet of Morchok, so that whenever replacements joined the raid they'd spawn on top of the leader and Morchok would kill them, with the side benefit of starting combat anew and preventing anyone in the raid from booting the leader.
