Random Complaint Thread

[Correction]

Has anyone ever had issues with people starting the Madness encounter despite the raid not being full or in no condition to start? Some guys saw need to wipe my LFR group 4 times, this is a new low for LFR, at least as far as my experiences are concerned.

Typically my Madness pulls in LFR have been in a few flavors.

1) Pull happens, 30 seconds later the drops from Spine distribute because 1 person didn't roll/pass. Immediately 8 people leave the group. Wipe
2) While waiting for replacements post-wipe, we get a tank who doesn't look at the distribution of roles and pulls thinking we have enough despire only having 2 healers in the group. Wipe.
3) New people join and think we haven't started the Thrall RP event yet. Talks to thrall. Wipe.
4) Asshat dps who has been whining since Blackhorn about how bad people are pulls after getting ressed and ports out of the dungeon. Wipe.

LFR quality overall has suffered since D3. Generally speaking if I want a quality group I do it Tuesday, early Saturday, or not at all.

My very first complaint with WoW was that 12 letters is the max character name. I care very much for my pun name, even moreso since it isn't exactly obvious to most people.

My complaint: This patch has been out for far too long, 25-30 guilds on my server are 8/8H they need to round up and release MoP already.
Soon our alt run even are gonna hit 8/8H which means this patch has gone on way to long!

Considering they're revamping an entire zone (which will be "offline for an extended period of time"), I can't imagine it's coming any time soon.

My guild stopped at 5/8H because our RL is a shitty mage doing 26k on yor'sahj with 3pieces of heroic tier gear + dragonwrath and is 'tired' or something.
Meanwhile I push 50k with no heroic hands or chest tokens while heroic tokens rot to 3rd spec paladins and priests. Now I have to decide if it's worth pugging into a group that probably can't kill hagara for a shot at completing my kit before MoP.

So I noticed the goodie bag for tanking flagged up, I decided to take it on a none-Twilight heroic basis. Ended up in BRC, @ 2nd boss.

As I was on my main, I was literally invincible. After a few wipes on 2nd boss as no one was able to understand the mechanics and I was tanking all 4 mobs, we managed to get to the 3rd boss. Throughout most of the dungeon, the healer pretty much never needed to heal me. Until the 2 mobs before the 3rd boss he decided he needs to repair. I told him he doesn't need all his gear to heal and that 1 piece of gear broken would not impact his healing, but he insists he needed to repair. I then told him the fact I took next to no damage literally and the time it takes to go repair and run back we would've done the dungeon.

Ignoring his pitiful claims, I pulled both flame mobs and the boss (knowing full well I can solo them, of course!)

I earned a "fuck u little prick" comment lol (which I decided it was over-reacting and reported him for bad language) and he raged quit, probably hoping we'd wipe. I laughed as with little effort I took all 3 mobs on and proceeded to win. 1 warlock guy kept going "wipe it guys" repeatedly (despite me at full health for maybe 3 minutes?) til I just told him to shut up and dps.

I was probably being an asshole, but I was confident in my ability to survive with no healing. This boss is probably, next to Magmaw, Throne of the 4 Winds, and Bethilac, one of the most annoying for pugs/idiots to understand bosses this expansion.

tl;dr

People that think 1 piece of borked gear = unable to perform job, failing to notice a far superior ilvl player taking no damage, want to waste 4 people's time doing a load of nonsense.

My only stupid complaint currently is that I cannot seem to find a server with decent people. PVP, endgame, oldschool raids, leveling... anything. There's still a lot of fun left in this game, and not many people seem to care; or maybe I'm just really unlucky. I've been on 4 Realms so far, both Horde and alliance side, and I've only been in 1 Guild with people who actually made an effort to have fun; and I was friends with 30% of the guild from outside WOW anyway. Kind of a cry for help here, but is anyone actually a fan of their realm? I'm looking to server hop again before MoP comes out, and I'd like to make this the last time I do so.

I don't play on Mal'Ganis anymore, but Mal'Ganis horde has everything. It's super populated, always stuff in trade to do, and you wont be bored unless you want to be.

There are indeed a lot of cutthroat people and douches, this is correct. Serious Casual (if theyre still around) were always nice. I would join their pugs randomly and everyone I met from that guild was generally a nice, non-trolly person.

It's only a problem if your group is disorganized, since that means they only have 10 or less people defending their towers.
