There is no point considering you stop getting them when you turn the quest in.
There is no point considering you stop getting them when you turn the quest in.
And dont try to throw away one out of your bag or you automatically drop the quest and ALL the sigils :D :D
Such a stupid system, why not just make deleting a quest/turning it in remove the items from your bags like they should? (Hi to you klaxxi dailies).
Game needs a system like TERA for quests where you can drop an entire zone of quests at once, just a quality of life thing for leveling, I hate when I outlevel a zone and have to drop every quest ONE..by ONE...by ONE.
A little p*ssed about the new patch. Finally get double rep long after it's needed and given up on... Overall nothing but another daily hub.
If I didn't already sign up for an annual pass and since buy time cards with gold from rmt sites through 1/4 of next year, I would cancel...
Also, Darkmoon is still full of empty vendors with yellow tape after almost a year. I noticed the only new content since the revamp is ONE new pet to buy this month aside from the new trinkets that are already barely an upgrade with two factions having similar trinks not counting the seasonal event gear.
If I have to say something, it's that it feels like there's too much to do at the moment lol, which causes me to do nothing.
Similar to the following quote for any of the GTA games:
This only applied once I hit 90 though, but as I hit 90 only 2 zones in (I dungeoned a lot), found my way to my Pandoria Hub City, learnt flying, I barely did anything because there seems to be too much to do:I have a hard time with GTA. I find the total freedom paralyzing. When given the opportunity to do anything, I tend to do nothing. —Tycho, Penny Arcade
Too many dailies; I hate questing
As more and more LFR opened up, it now feels like there's too much LFR to do (also queue times seems fucked at the moment on EU side. Queues are taking up to 1~ hour to form). I'm doing it exclusively right now to collect my Sha'Axe and DK tier set (despite how ugly it looks) -- head, hand, should and body, along with the belt, no need for legs as this time the body has a rather long skirt.
The pokemon spirit in me wants to collect all rare/cool pets, but then with already 200+ pets to choose and build a team from, and the need to level them up to stand a chance against pets in higher level areas, along with SO many areas with pets, let me paralyzed
The new old raid pets; at the moment I'm choosing to burn through old raids than to progress my main char , so I've been running AQ40, MC and BWL for pets (and Naxx on DK only); this had a negative side effect. For War and Pala I noticed how cool/unique the AQ40 sets look, so now I'm looking to collect them for these 2. My fault for curiously talking to the NPC and accepting the quest I suppose ...
I want to finish arch to 600 so i can use panda mats to buy old world mats (tol'vir especially) for mount, but ... lazy ...

To give credit, Blizzard has succeeded (for me, at least) in giving you a lot to do (despite how repetitive some are, and despite how some are just recycled stuff i.e. the old raids and the new pet drops)
Contrast to Cata (patch 4.2 where faction 359 epics were still useful)
Level to 85
Quest until X faction Quartermaster opens up, buy tabard
Burn dungeons, repeat
Pug a raid, maybe level arch lol
or 4.3
Level to 85
Spam new heroics/buy crafted PvP gear
Do LFR DS (lol)
Pug a raid, maybe level arch lol
---
Now it's annoying, especially for alts
Spam heroics until 463, or buy crafted stuff if rich
Do 3~4 weeks of dailies to get the feel of some sort of progression because it's the only way to spend VP
Do up to 5 different LFRs
Build a farm! Grow shit! Pokemon! Collect them all! Rare mobs! Rare treasures! Dig! Transmog!

At this point in time I really do feel if a FFXI class system (excluding subjob, just the swapping) was implemented I'd feel a lot better (but with more inventory)
https://twitter.com/Ghostcrawler/sta...26076186275841
Even GC got that wrong which I was surprised about (you level it multiple times, as we all know), I would've thought the superiority of the FFXI system would be general knowledge. I know it's too late to fantasize about such a system for WoW now, but still! This would create a very hazardous loot situation too amongst raids and such.Sometimes I wish WoW had a class system like FFXI. Not saying it would work, but I did like that character devotion
Yeah that's the extreme, where you level the account once and then play any class.

Yeh, I know, I'm complaining there's too much to do from my perspective. Back in 4.2/4.3 I enjoyed the lack of things to do. All my alts were raid ready (due to the lack of things to do) everything was streamlined, I knew my stuff to be competent. When I had nothing to do, I done other things.
Right now I'm stuck between feeling the need to stay logged on to do something, but because there's too much to do, I end up being unproductive and doing not a lot.
My only motivation to level to 90 on War and Pala is to play the class off hand and to do some older content a bit easier to get cool stuff.
EDIT: Wow, I wrote a lot. Quiet Friday morning lol
I had the same overwhelming feeling about the dailies also. I hate them with a passion. It feels like a chore i have to do before i get to actually play the game. Bleh.
Random bitch:
Last night, healer need rolls my dps trinket. Today, another healer does the same on my dps shoulders. Next run, a hunter thinks its HILARIOUS to misdirect everyone but the tank. Why the fuck am I getting these retards? Whoever in blizzard HQ decided it was ok for holy pally's to be able to need roll on dps gear while healing needs to sit on a railroad spike. It's so fucking frustrating.
For the overwhelming aspect, I just take shit 1-2 steps at a time, I only focused on 2 reps at a given time because i didn't want to grind them all out at once (I still have Anglers left). What gets me about this entire expansion is the pvp, I was looking forward to the pvp because I figured an expansion about horde v alliance and how Blizzard wanted to open up more world pvp, would have a better balance to it...well that fell right down the shitter with how horrible balance is and how blizzard didn't listen at all to any of the pvp beta testers. I decided to play Monk over my DK because DK just felt really stagnant to me from the last expansion and frost was boring as fuck during Dragon Soul to play...but monk is terrible in regards to dps just because it feels like we got abilities from EVERY class...but they are just shitty versions of all the abilities. Its like my class got hand me downs from all the other classes and scraped together shit from garage sales. I get that they didnt want another DK class on their hands, but fucking shit Blizzard. It's a new class and it starts at lvl 1, you could have at least made us pretty damn good at the start because people will need time to get a handle on how the class operates and works, not nerf the fuck out of us and then slowly buff us, because by then no one will be playing the class at all.
The LFR/coin loot system is annoying as fuck, especially when I use a coin on a boss and get an item I already fucking have. What a goddamn waste that was, or even better is when I get a drop off a boss I already have, use a coin AND GET THE SAME FUCKING DROP AGAIN.
I also like this type of shit from blizzard
Yeah it's totally not the class mechanics and pvp power making burst crazy, no no no, its those on use trinkets. Also could we redo the human racial to not be so fucking overpowered for pvp? After reviewing the data and player feedback, we remain concerned that on-demand burst damage remains too high in PvP. After investigation, we determined that the on-use PvP trinkets are a major contributor to extremely high burst output.
Wait what's wrong with the human racial?
ITZ A HALF A TRINKET FOR FREEZ AHMAHAGD
So i'm a new player to WoW, I just started a few weeks ago and am working on maxing out my characters before switching from the starter edition, so I set out on RDF to do a dungeon that holds a really great upgrade body piece for my level 20 mage, do it around 5+ times today alone, the body piece drops 3x of those, and every fucking time I need lot it, someone always wins with a higher lot, first person is a pld who is our tank >_>, needing on a int+ piece, the other is a shitty warlock, then the final person is a priest that doesn't know how to resurrect and can barely heal and afks during fights, that not only gets that piece, but lots 90+s on every best mage piece in that dungeon........ Made me want to punch puppies.
Yeah it's going to happen alot. the WoW community as a whole are a bunch of pricks. Current company not included, of course.
I really don't understand the problem with LFR. I hated how LFR worked with dragon soul and I thought it was too long, with too many bosses. They changed how the loot worked and got rid of the main problem, ENTIRE FUCKING GUILDS rolling for their friends/alts/whatever to gear them up for raids and stealing pretty much all of the LFR gear, and less bosses (for the most part).
LFR is pretty much as good as its going to get right now. You don't really have competition. No longer are there 8 DK's in the raid and you're thinking you're fucked on gear. No longer are there groups of 5-10 people all from the same guild trying to gear out one person. No longer are there people fully geared in heroic raid gear still need rolling on trinkets and gear from LFR just because they can and to be dicks.
You really want all of that shit back? You zone in, you kill a boss. Sometimes you get an item, sometimes you don't. It's just like soloing old bosses for mounts or transmog gear. It either drops, or it fucking doesn't. End of story. You don't have competition, you don't have ninja's, you either get lucky and get loot or you don't. It doesn't matter if you are top dps or were afk the whole time, no one can get in the way of you getting gear. You get it, or you don't. Also, you get two fucking rolls if you use a coin. How the fuck do you expect to make this system better? The only thing they could possibly implement is a reward for doing it multiple times, like a badge or justice system which we've had for years in the past and everyone hated. Like I want to do LFR more often so I can accumulate more badges or something, FUCK that. I barely want to go once a week as it is.
Personally I think this system is alot better. I just wonder why they didn't extend it to 5 mans. Getting my gear stolen by fucking holy paladins is driving me up a wall.
It wasn't that huge.
It got out of hand around heroic twins trinket, and deathbringer's will (ToC/ICC). It slowly got toned back from there.
In DS, vial of shadows made it a bit ridiculous again for 1 single class, and the burstiness of it was nerfed like... faster than they've ever nerfed anything that only affected pvp... ever.
If they extended the LFR loot system to dungeons, it'd be a pretty big hit for people trying to gear off-specs with different primary stats than their main specs. There are a few "WTF" moments, but I'd rather have those and the option to flesh out two specs when no one needs the gear than to put the LFR system into place there.
I run dungeons for fucking blues for enchanting mats. Roll need on all the things
