both of you are derping the fuck out of this, fucking stop it
I like the upcoming PvP changes when it comes to Arena. Neutral on the whole world PvP fiasco since that hasn't been relevant to me since mid vanilla (+ Alliance are extinct on MG).
oh a lot of the changes should be great, however they also shouldn't be necessary 8 or 9 years into the competitive pvp side of the game
my new complaint: a blue made one of the most epicly fucktarded posts I've ever seen on the WoW forums... and it's on EU forums so I can't reply qq

in response to complaints about the randomness of raid loot:
I guess someone missed the memo on their entire fucking design philosophy for MoP lol.But this is a game, not a job. It should be fun, if it feels like just an obligation... what's the point?
Oh pvp works, and it actually works well for Blizzard in the fact that in order to be super competitive people level multiple classes just so they don't have to deal with their class getting kicked in the balls and being unable to pvp. Hell when monks got bitch slapped I leveled my DK I wasn't planning on even playing in MoP because Monks were that bad, and I did better on my slightly geared DK then I did on my full geared monk with +2 upgrades which was really sad haha. The system "works" it just doesnt work in the level of "competitive play" or anything akin to that.
I am not going to pretend I'm some super amazing pvper, but I do fucking love the shit out of it. I don't necessarily think that nerfed jobs = horribly designed system. Only because balancing classes while keeping them unique in any game is super hard to do for both pve and pvp. Ya it sucks to have to lvl multiple jobs depending on what works and what doesn't for the season, so don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's perfect.
Basically, it's the difference between a car not turning on, and a car that turns on and runs but has dents all over it.
that's all I was trying to say
Anyone ever noticed warlocks act like the only way to save their starving children is by you taking rocks (I love rocks), but mages treat their drinks like they are the last bit of fresh water on earth?
my biggest pet peeve as a lock is joining a group, and while i'm in town getting last minute supplies, hearing "lock, come to raid so you can summon plz" when there's at least 5 people already there. I am NOTORIOUS for doing nalak fights, and being there from the very start of the group, and not summoning. Fuck you. Use the legs you were given and fucking walk, you lazy fucks. fuckers.
So abandon is a mage in hiding
i really dont see why drinks are a big deal to be honest. what the fuck do they do at lvl 90 that's so fucking special
Same principle as wiping en route to byakko because some dumbass mage didn't want to buy silent oils and got caught, then bitched hard enough that someone else got caught trying to raise them, rinse repeat.
shit aint cool, and people like that are not good to have around.
While I agree with the expectation of self-sufficiency for things like this, in WoW a caster with no drinks isn't going to waste ten minutes of the group's time because of it.
Ya, dropping a table at the beginning of the raid is no where near the same as casting sneak/invis on a whole party that will wear off at any time.
Also, who said I don't bring drinks? I have back ups, but fuck there's no reason to not get free ones.![]()
transcript from a ToT LFR last week:
[Shaman] can we have water please?
[Druid] No mage
~1min
[Shaman] can we have water please?
[Druid] dude! theres no mage in the raid!
~2min
[Shaman] so no water?
You have to wonder if some of those people are just trolling.
I felt bad today because I left a Sha raid that was taking too long to set up to join a nearly full Oondasta raid. Wouldn't have gotten shit from Sha either so I guess it's not that big a deal.
I hate those impatient people who leave raids when it takes too long but they were talking in /1 about Oondasta being up and since Sha is always up it wasn't that difficult a decision to make.
oondasta's always up too actually
I didn't know that. Is there anything else on the Isle of Giants besides a flight point, Oon, and some dinosaurs?
