Soloing Heroic Hillsbrad on my 75 Pally and I'm just a wee bit annoyed that I have to rescue Thrall again and go back through trash because I wiped on that Captain guy - I'll kill him this time, but it's a pain in the ass.

The fact that I'm soloing a level 70 Heroic at 75 means I probably shouldn't be complaining too much though.

In other news, this is the first time I've played in weeks, so yay for productivity?

My complaint: what the fucking fuck blizz, are you really incapable of putting together a group of 25 toons with realistic connections and testing shit like this? Are they really not bright enough to come up with the methods?

As simple as both of those things are, I have a really hard time believing either is the case-- it's just straight up laziness and lack of foresight. It's the same general idea as putting the pvp trinkets with 10% damage reduction on ptr with no pvp requirement; that should have been the absolute first thing that remotely occurred to whoever came up with that bonus. Sure, it's good that we have ptr for us to point it out so they don't go live that way, but there's simply no excuse for not having thought of it on their own immediately upon considering the idea in the first place.

It's the same shit here, and they're lucky as fuck someone said "ok since blizz won't look into this we will," and figured it out for them. If not, the next tier could very easily have become an infamous one known for every top end raid having to swap to 10 man because of server cpu lag.

The sudden jump in difficulty at heroic thok is like whoa.

It all feels so simple and like it should be such an easy fight, but the raw damage numbers are insane, and the position manipulation for kiting properly is just plain fucked.

We're like 150 wipes in and really haven't even gotten close.

And to put it in perspective for normal mode people... when we killed it on normal this week we decided to just stack up and let the phase happen whenever it happens, didn't even set a cooldown rotation.

Finally phased because of a tank cleaving us at 66 stacks with boss at 8%, wouldn't have phased it at all if not for that.

Like 10m damage short of a spoils heroic kill last night. If only we'd have seen more than 0 immerseus trinkets...meanwhile our 3rd tank has a near perfect gear set for the 1 fight where we 3-tank.

10m loot distribution is fucking stupid.

Yeah I've been top gear for our raid aside from our disc priest this entire tier almost, which is nice for me but frustrating considering what our rogue or any ranged could be putting out if the luck had been with them.

Currently there's the priest at 571.5, me at 570.5, our prot pally (who was the lowest geared by miles coming into the tier) at 568.5, and then finally out lock and mages all like right at 568.

And of course me with 3 kills on heroic norushen to get my 2 heroic weaps then sit him forever lol, while our rogue is stuck with 548 mainhand and 543 offhand.

WoL is broken and not detecting white melee hits lol.

Missing like 50k+ dps per fight on logs, awesome.

WoL devs no longer play the game, so are super lazy about fixing shit. Warcraftlogs.com looks like a promising successor.

We did get spoils down this week easily, still no heroic immy trinkets despite 6 kills + 18 coins spent on him for our raid team. Blughhhhh, this is why having one item be such a cornerstone for high-level performance is a terrible idea.

I'll have to give that warcraftlogs place a shot, I wonder though if WoL will be left in bad enough shape that a meaningful amount of people will actually swap. They are actually making some halfway decent money out of WoL.

Our Boomkin (we're doing flex and soon normals) is beyond awful and I need to fix it. (Most people around 500-520ilv)

Is WoL shitty for posting now to get him help? Or can it still be used for that? Should I try warcraftlogs or whatever for this?

WoL is fine, just when bugs pop up they're slow to fix. Nothing wrong atm that I'm aware of, the white hits thing is fixed.

holy crap. had an awesome time in the 70's pvp bracket and now I'm in the 80-85 bracket and people have an absurd amount of HP. A disc priest had 275k health at lvl 83.

Dat enchant scaling. Blizzard gives no fucks about low level PVP.

I think it's more the panda blues that are basically starter 90 gear available at level 80.

the MoP blues are what it is. Armory'd a person and he was in ilvl 400 shit or something crazy. At lvl 80 in pvp epics the ilvl is only 270 even in quested cata gear it's like 290 or something. and I didn't realize they added ilvl scaling to pvp too. My win-ratio is still pretty high but damn. I don't get what they were thinking with non-cap pvp stuff lol I do it because it's funner than dungeons/questing to lvl.

so my guild is fucking horrific, at least the team i can raid with. i'm looking for a guild doing normal progression (i would embarass myself in heroics at 542 lock) that runs after 11pm cst on kilrogg/winterhoof. actually i might even server transfer if i have to, anybody have any suggestions or tools to shop around?

That raid schedule is going to be extremely rough, most guilds on Kilrogg start 5:30-6PM server. My guild is slightly more west coast friendly and even then doesn't start raids any later than 7pm server. Not that you'd want in, they can't even field 10 people competent enough to clear the first wing yet

day team has been stuck on norushen for a long ass time now, even though they only make like 2 attempts max per run. healers that dont know how to clear stacks in their purification zone, DPS that literally do not touch adds the entire fight, tanks that die in their purification zone with niuzao cape, it's a goddamn shitshow
