I now see why DK's complain about our poor scaling. If it's not a Ret Pally or Spriest i'm not beating it, regardless of how well i play.

Hopefully this gets fixed in WoD as it's my favorite class by far.

So be business as usual then, they really seem to have a strong aversion to doing anything to fix DKs after how they launched which is a shame cause i love my DK

They've announced another pet with http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/...lten-Corgi-Pet which will more than likely be bound for the store, whatever happened to getting shit like that in-game? i know its a business and all but lately it seems like any decent looking pet/mount is coming from there, i'd rather do something in-game to get it than just chuck more money at them especally now with this hugelikexbox content drought.

Recently came back, been levelling War (ARMS) on timeless isle on cranes/worms.

Was wondering why I was rage starved, thought it was a change applied during 5.1-5.4

As a DK, i hate all other DK's.

When i'm on an alt doing LFR or Flex and i see DK's that never use Death Grip to help tanks or ever interrupt anything, i want to strangle them.

i have everything except warrior and monk to at least 80, and fire mage makes me want to break things. Violently. Currently fucking around with a hunter, and it's the most fun i've had since leveling my lock as demo.

I think the suggested ilvl for when fire becomes fun is 550ish?

They're fixing that in the WoD beta by having your crit chance increase and stack for every time you don't crit.

No. You don't get what I'm saying.

If you're 535 and every piece of gear you have has crit + x, you can probably play fire just fine, and it will almost assuredly be better for you than frost or arcane.

If you're 588 and all your gear is haste/mastery, you're going to fail miserably as fire.

I mean yeah there's reforging but it doesn't hit everything and you don't get enough crit to hit the soft cap (I'm assuming, it's the same with the Haste cap on S Priest) until you reach a certain ilevel, even with fully gemmed/enchanted/reforged/upgraded gear.

i don't think he can. anyway how is hunter these days? iirc weapon scaling was still not a thing for many attacks, which meant the better your gear got the better MM got compared to the other specs.

hunter is a blast. I'm 86 now after a weekend of powerleveling, and just... keeping a good weapon on board is the biggest part, but on any fight where everyone is similarly geared, nobody has touched me on a meter. pvp as well, i got dudes trying to gank me, disengage, the pet attack things, serpent sting and autoshot seems to be enough. i went from doing crits as high as 20-30k in cata stuff to IMMEDIATELY critting for 60k+ with just a few pieces of gear. Looking forward to hitting 90 and seeing what all it can do.

i particularly like the fact that for BM, all the stats are pretty equal, so i dont have to go balls to the wall in one stat; i can pretty much pick up any piece of agi mail and it's an increase.

do the pets still have their interesting utility? time was, you used a spider for root, nether ray for interrupt, turtle for tank, etc. plus all the various raid buff pets.


and yeah BM is pretty fun. iirc mastery/attack power was the stat to get, but you couldn't really go wrong with whatever else. At sub-capped especially, hunter (particularly BM) is really really powerful, but last i played once you hit cap it fell to the middle of the pack for dps. i almost want to re-activate but i fucking hate raid grinding (you need people to raid and i fucking hate most people on wow) and am not too keen on daily grinds either.

Yeah, pets all still have their individual buffs/debuffs, i'm currently checking to see if i can nab a spirit beast for dem healz. According to recent dps charts, BM SHOULD be the highest dps in a raid group, gear allowing.
