That patch/maintenance did fuck all. Been in the queue for four hours so far for Thrall. Haven't been able to play since launch because I work and can't sit in queue for nine hours.

Well supposedly people are going into ragefire chasm and staying in combat with a single mob attacking them to stay in combat and not afk out. That would explain why today's queue is slower than yesterday's despite the increased population cap.

Wouldn't that take them to an instance server and therefore freeing up a spot? Or better yet, shouldn't it?

Still have a footprint on the world server otherwise you wouldn't be able to exit when done due to the population cap.

They're doing rolling restarts eventually, and probably will keep doing them, to prevent people from afking in rfc.

We came home around 3pm to see a 5500 queue on Zuljin.

Currently it's 9:43pm and i'm at 78 in queue. Sucks for sure.

There was no queue when I logged in this morning, then again, it was about 8AM server time. Finally logged off, I'm not going to fucking automate my way to a botting ban. People in trade were talking about how "it's not botting" but the way I see it, you're AFK and you're setting up something to keep your character moving/active, that's fucking botting brah.

I'll get up around 8-9 and log back in, tab out and work on my homework. I hate to do it, but I know damn well by the time I finish my homework that the queue will have gotten obscene. Damn my professor for having shit due at 1700 on a fucking Sunday, seriously why. -.-

Well, according to MMO Champion:

• US and EU maintenance was completed and added capacity by phasing all of Draenor and upgrading server hardware.
• Realm population caps were raised to normal levels in the US and EU once again.
• Realm population caps were then increased above the old normal capacity in the US and EU.
• Realm population caps are now double what they were yesterday.

So, if I read this correctly, whatever queues you see now should mostly be actual interest in the game, and less about the issues we saw yesterday. I'll admit I don't quite understand how you square the last two points, together, since the tone of information seemed like servers weren't near their normal population caps yesterday.

I agree the botting shit isn't worth the risk as eventually those that are rushing will get bored likely due to lack of enough content. I've seen it over and over heh. I'm already 94 but honestly by sheer rested exp/accident as I have been taking my sweet time especially doing so much garrison shit and upgrades. I don't see any issue with tabbing in and out..fuck I logged Melena in on Friday at server up around 9am and kept him in until 4pm by just moving him slightly. When he came home after being kicked out it was 4k , so yeah I understand why people do certain things.

If I didn't love my server so much I would transfer , but Zul'Jin has so much history for me and I love it. I've been dealing with high queues since BC days so for me it's meh being casual and having way too much free time currently. Those with limited time however having to wait 6-8 hours..is insane and understand why they would want to gtfo. I do think things will start to settle within the week overall.

And..who the fuck has a project deadline on a fucking Sunday..seriously ? Your professor is a dick.

She's pretty nice, I think it's because the class is on Mondays and she wants to have a chance to look at what we're planning to discuss in class tomorrow. It's a lit class, so we are expected to read (not a problem) and then post a short response to the discussion board. It's not a big deal, but it's annoying since I like to work during the week and play during the weekends. And yes, I know damn well I could do it on Friday and then have the weekend free, but let's be real here. Any assignment that can be procrastinated, will be procrastinated.

So I'm logged in now, I'm just checking back and forth and putting my followers on mission for now.

It really is the worst i've seen continually , I mean ZJ had constant 2k queues for a few months at a time but not 6k like so many are dealing with now and across other realms like yours. I think transfers will be offered soon tbh I just hope they offer them to the servers with the highest queues not just what they consider just high population. It's such a tricky balance because if they up how many people the server can handle we could have such horrible lag and bottlenecks like before but if they limit it too much people will never play either. I don't know what the answer is because I don't mind a busy server but don't want it unplayable either..

Well i'm planning to move regardless so i hope you're right about transfers. Making the switch to Alliance and need to find a decent populated server.

So should I Just cancel my sub for a month and hope it calms down by then? 3k ppl in queue whenever I log on, got booted earlier so I lost my position. Are there still free xfers for low pop servers? I might just do that if they still do that... Cross realm raiding makes what server you're on unimportant right?
