So should I Just cancel my sub for a month and hope it calms down by then? 3k ppl in queue whenever I log on, got booted earlier so I lost my position. Are there still free xfers for low pop servers? I might just do that if they still do that... Cross realm raiding makes what server you're on unimportant right?

There has been some talk of possible transfers soon but no confirmation yet. No free transfers available as far as I know right now.
I do think it will calm down but I don't think that transfers will fix everything either , it will make it better but it never ends queues entirely. It's kind of a risk vs reward thing.

It appears I took a long enough hiatus to forget how much I hate LFD and the stupid people you encounter there. Healing HC Iron docks with a Blood DK tank who never uses CD's and 3 melee DPS who are equally inept was an awful experience.

Anyone else finding healing HC's difficult? I don't mean so hard that I'm unable to finish dungeons, just constantly having to be on top of my game and spamming spells or somebody will die.

I thought the point of the stat squish and WoD changes was people don't die instantly and takes somewhat a while to die
I remember reading that if a tank dies, then DPS won't go down in 2 hits like before...

People have to use their cd's and get out of stuff. You won't be able to just spam heals and keep the group at full anymore. Most groups at lower item levels will be sitting at 50-80% most of the time.

I thought dungeons use a personal loot system (ala Upper Blackrock Spire in the pre-expansion patch), so you could run it but you might not always get gear.

it is personal loot, but at the moment i get 1 drop every 10 dungeons or so. it's pretty frustrating when coupled with queue times. i'm going to chalk it up to bad luck and will laugh straight to the bank with my raid loot later

It's been great but fucking queue times ugh. Best expansion so far since BC or WOTLK imo. I actually love the personalized loot system and have gotten 3 drops in normals between about 7 runs.

Garrisons are the best thing I've ever had as well. I'm already 97 but still feel I have a ton of shit to do and explore.

I personally enjoy it, I really like the new rare elite system. And the random upgrades on quest items is really fun and nice bonus while questing.

Probably should have clarified that queues are why I haven't been able to log in during my playtime, but that sounds nice, actually. Though story is what I'm looking forward to the most, I want my quests!
