I chalk that up to people not wanting to learn and wipe and shit. Healing heroics back in BC days was fucking rough for a good while until you had gear and back then they didn't have ilevel requirements so there is that too.
I just think people are so accustomed to "lawl faceroll" , they forgot what a heroic SHOULD be. This goes for all classes tbh , as I'm hearing it a lot on my server also.

Oh i'm with you on that. I think the best groups I've had so far are the ones that are there for the first time and are willing to learn and deal with wipes.

PvP gear..whoever designed this needs to be shot. Some of it has set bonuses, some doesn't. Blizzard apparently put in bonuses for some of the gear because they..forgot to? But if you bought the wrong piece TOO BAD because that gear was actually for a different plate/mail/etc class so no bonus for you.

Not to mention the 5000000 tiers of gear.

ilvl 600 aspirant, ilvl 600 combatant, ilvl 620 aspirant/combatant, warforged versions of the shit, blah blah blah. Need rep from Ashran for conquest items from what I have read and seen...wtf.

And pvp is of course still a clusterfuck instagib fest even with the item squish. Rogue open on you and no trinket? Ded. Feral bleeds on you and no good self heals? Ded How bout dat mage CC? Ded

As many of you reported, at the launch of Warlords of Draenor, there were a few issues that allowed players access to Conquest gear prematurely. Conquest Points (and in some cases, actual pieces of Conquest gear) were being rewarded from various locations, including Ashran, despite there being no active PvP season.

We’ve now corrected those issues, and no more Conquest points are being earned or Conquest gear being awarded. However, to preserve the integrity of the upcoming PvP season, we need to do something about the Conquest points and gear that some players were already able to acquire.

So, before Warlords Season 1 begins on December 2nd, we’ll be converting any remaining Conquest points into Honor, similar to the end-of-season conversions we’ve done in the past. Any excess Honor over the 4000-point cap will be converted into gold at 35 silver per Honor. Any existing Primal Gladiator’s (Conquest) gear will be converted into its corresponding Primal Combatant’s (Honor) counterpart.

We apologize for the confusion that these issues have caused, but are looking forward to a clean start to the PvP season on December 2nd.

This isn't a sarcastic question at all :

Has PvP in WoW ever been good? I despise PvP and don't do it at all but it seems it never met expectations especially on PvP servers. It just appears completely unbalanced in terms of gear especially as noted.

I would think more hard-core pvpers would prefer a game like LoL over WoW based on the mechanics overall.

I PvP maybe once a year and lastly did for the Hallowed title and as a feral and Resto druid I hardly died while other classes were trampled consistently and I suck at it. I think all the available features of the game should be fun but it sounds like that PvP comes up short everytime.

I think that depends on your definition of good. I honestly loved PVP back in vanilla. Between the south shore massive stuff and grinding out GM I actually enjoyed it. It wasn't really even/fair for all the classes but it was a blast when the college buddies and I in my guild would do a drunken pvp weekend. I think Resil/PVP power etc ruined pvp but that's me.

You can't have good PVP in an MMO when you have PVP gear and PVP stats that create disparity between players.

Now back to my bitching: Another heroic where our healer leaves mid fight. What in the world is going on? Is there a strike?

Sounds like I'm going to be forced into a healing bitch again. I healed most everything at one point or another as my druid. So many people think healing is easy but it's honestly one of the worst roles unless you enjoy it. If dps is taking damage from avoidable shit that's a sure fire way for me to stop healing them.

I was pulling numbers in gruuls lair back in the day I had no business doing so I standby the fact gear only does so much. People choose healing for instant queue not because they should lol.

If you guys needs resources, get the treasure maps off archeology vendor in Ashran. 3 different zones, anywhere between 25-100 resources per treasure box and holy fuck is there a ton of boxes.

37k HPS as disc in a heroic earlier in the last boss on Grimrail HM. People need to learn to not stand in shit or to use personals

Yeah doing pretty good with not standing in shit but there was one point in Grimrail Depot when the entire train car was covered in that lightning shit, I was the only one left alive at that point and all my CDs were down so I was unable to finish the boss even though he had less than 200k health left. I felt like I let my team down but no one even said anything, we just rezzed and went back to it, killed it the next time, though two of the DPS still died.

I've found that having a few feasts handy has made life a lot easier.

WoW's PvP has never been 'fair' except maybe Arena, where everyone was using the preferred compositions and had equivalent gear.

WoW's PvP has always been 'fun' if you enjoy semi-organized/chaotic battles where there's usually a lot of shit going on while completing objectives.

Your mileage will vary, depending on your preference.

Okay I've only done a few of the dungeons so far, but I'm gonna bitch about the fact that they all seem to leave you somewhere where you don't have access to the first part of the dungeon after it's completed. So if I've got one of those quests from my tavern to go pick up an item and I wasn't able to grab it in the first part because I either missed it or would have had to run out of the way, I can't go back and get it. That's fucking annoying.

Dungeons are also kind of frustrating right now but that's obviously because no one outgears them yet.

If you walked to the dungeon entrance, wouldn't you be able to go back into your 'saved' instance (heroic at least) and get what you need?

Everyone left the group too quickly and so when I ported from the dungeon I was no longer in the dungeon group to go back in. Oh well, I'll do it another time, the quests aren't going anywhere.

I'd rather lose a roll against a player than not see any loot. For dungeons anyways. For LFR, i prefer personal.

Not sure if this qualifies as a complaint, but damn you Blizzard, I'm addicted to my garrison.

It's fucking 3:18 AM and I've been sitting there, "Oh this next mission completes in 20 minutes, I might as well stay up and wait for it," then of course when 20 minutes comes, another mission is close to completion, and I'm constantly taking on new missions all the time. I'm having trouble stepping back and reminding myself that they're not going to go anywhere if I log out of the game.

I didn't expect to love it this much, damn it! I guess that's a pseudo-complaint.
