So I really don't understand the mentality of using Heroism on Onyxia after she's up in the air. I've had to fight with so many RLs who insist it's the best use of Heroism, never mind that if you time it so melee ALSO get the full duration of it including while she's running across the room during the p2 transition, it shortens that phase so much more.

Am I wrong? Are they stupid?

We usually pop it as she flies too but to be fair its such an easy fight it really doesn;t matter when you pop it. Maybe its just raid leaders not trusting melee to be attentive to actually move with her as she goes to fly.

I guess I'm annoyed because I recognize it as a lack of trust in the ability of the melee, never mind that they wind up putting far too much trust in ranged to know what the fuck for the duration of p2, rather than allow melee a chance to shorten it, as well. Wanton ignorance of efficiency bugs me, and it's kept me from 25-man More Dots Achievement more times than I like

You lust/heroism to bring ony down asap. Ranged should stay on ony the whole time, and melee should handle the whelps no problem. Her coming down faster usually is just better overall since people are generally stupid and get hit by breath or blast nova.

On my server we seem to have been on some kind of crappy daily HC rotation.. HoS > Oculus > HoS > Oculus and so on.. I hate them both. That stupid boss in HoS with Brann does my head in. ._. Though saying that. I probably hate them mostly because of crappy PUGs.. Since I swtiched to horde there have been less crappy groups which is great.

Oculus is one of my favourite dungeons (with a competent group ofc). Everything else is just so faceroll boring. :/

With a good group, I'd also enjoy Oculus quite a bit. But that's so hit-or-miss, heh.

To add in a complaint:

Got my warlock to 80, been doing heroics and trying raids to get some gear. Mystical Dragon Figurine drops in OS10 (18 spirit per spell cast, stacks 10 times) which is basically a 99 SP trinket for a warlock in a raid. I roll on it, I win roll on it. Feral druid tank ninja's it and leaves the raid.

Can't fucking pug anything on my server. This is the 3rd group I've joined recently, and this is always what it looks like right before we wipe from idiocy. I just want the head goddamnit.

Pugged ony10 on my druid, group leader wins roll on head and immediately starts taking bids to sell it.

So I check him, link [Polished Dragonslayer's Signet] in raid and he hearths and drops group without looting any other items out. cock.

Ask for lootrules in raid chat. If they don't follow them, report them. I'm pretty sure they can get b& for that.
