New Fishing Derby starts soon. Northrend-zone server is down.

This happened to me just now too, 5 minutes before the derby; wonder if there's a bug in it...

Northrend server in general on Hellscream EU keeps acting up. Wouldn't mind generally but it only ever seems to cock up when I'm trying to get shit done in there.

Also fuck how stupid lucky other people are with the RNG. Fishing derby was over in less than 10min and pools seemed to last 3 casts when I didn't have some other asshole fishing in it.

While I agree in general, I think it was the whole, 'If they have the achievement, they're saved and all trash will be dead' that he was talking about.

Nah, what I was talking about is the fact that the raid has been out for 4 days and people are expecting 25m achieves for 10m and 10m achieves to do 25m. It's been 4 fucking days, holy shit.

its the whole achievement mentality that pisses me off, i've got 4 80's, a few of them have different achivements for different things, ie. got ulduar 10 on shaman but not on priest etc. and doing pug things (even OS) people whine for achievements, i wouldn't mind if the people that had the achievements had skill but they dont and they constantly mess shit up.

This 100 Times over, I'm an achievement whore and the only thing stopping me from leveling any kind of Alt are the achievements I have.

[Correction]

I don't see why you really need all your main's achievements on your alts, barring appearing qualified for a raid pug. With the new LFR browser you're welcome to cruise for leader roles and make your own raids.

A lot of people hate leading or lack the skills required to do so. I also have to agree with Correction on the achievement thing. It just wouldn't feel any good having achievements dragged over to all my alts. I like my Shaman because I have a lot of work and it's really the only character I give a damn about. Wouldn't be the same if I had all my stuff on each character.

I'm also noticing a bit of a screw up with the dungeon matchmaking cause they gave us a Titan Grip Warrior with One Blue/One Green for a Heroic HoR and I just simply quit on the spot seeing as how he looked like he just dinged level 80, lol.

K This has got to stop. 3 times today I've had folks completely puss out of random heroics because for one reason or another they didn't feel like doing it. H. Oculus, H. Halls of Stone, H. Oculus again. Apparently unless the heroic is under 30 minutes long folks just fucking bail and eat the 15 minute cooldown...makes sense amirite.

And THIS thing just averaged 782 dps on my last failure to clear the easiest heroic in the game. And nobody in the group knew how to kill Eregos, even after I asked 'any questions?' before we even got close to him.

Got into an ICC pug on my main, one-shotted Marrowgar, looked like we'd do ok. Get to Lady Deathwhisper and wipe twice, people start leaving. Seriously? Two wipes on content most of you have never even seen? The fuck is wrong with you. You're already saved anyway, why give up so easily? We picked up a few people, including a couple guildies of mine and made another couple attempts. Strategy wasn't working, we were talking about it and such and then yeah, RL is like "someone just came to my house...I must greet him..." and left the raid. Get the fuck out. We were having MAJOR strategy issues (we had 8 melee, we only had one melee on the side I was tanking...yeah) that could've been fixed with a little bit of effort and really with the change of leadership. We could've gotten her down and then gunship is free loot (unless something is MASSIVELY different in 25) if people had a little patience.

Tanking feels like fucking ballet dancing now. It's barely possible to get mobs to stand in front of you since the slightest movement from ANYTHING makes them just run past you to hit you in the back. I heard that it's a known bug and they are trying to fix it but still so much frustration,grrr.

Also fuck HoR when a Mercenary decides to stun you early into the wave. God forbid you have a wave with 2x Mercenary who chain their stuns on you. Talk about taking massive damage as a tank and then some. Plus you get to ballet dance all over again because the stupid Mercenary popped behind you and fucking pathing AI makes everything run past you the moment you reposition for tanking!

On the bright side Holy Wrath > Arcane Torrent(sp?) > Hammer of Justice (thats the single target stun, I think) owns the Priests in HoR so badly since we follow the order of Priest > Mercenary > Mage (CC Hunter).
