Pick one or the other, and make Corsair's roll your 2nd roll, or your gimping it.

Those other cors fail. The only time you'd need to stack two melee buffs is if the party is too gimp to keep up the chain, in which case you should be disbanding and lfp again anyways.

Generally speaking, I'm all about going for more the more 'fun' buffs when your party doesn't have a problem with it, but when we're talking about a buff that most people still don't understand is better for them(and that they'll argue against to the grave), you're infinitely better off not poisoning the already poisoned minds of the masses and trying to beat your parties over the head with the orgasm Corsair's Roll is.

Decent/excellent two-hander party: Chaos/Corsair/March/March
Shitty/mixed two-hander/one-hander party: Hunter/Corsair/March/March
One-hander party: Hunter/Corsair/March/March/Disband

And I'm probably going to be flogged for saying this, but I'd avoid having your mages rely on rolls in merit parties if possible. Your damage and/or healing capabilities(/DNC, which I've personally fallen in love with thanks to Spider-Dan) are going to drop significantly if you have to be wearing any back-line oriented roll by virtue of buffing your support(obviously if they can't keep up without Evoker's, don't be stupid, etc.).

the solution is to party with 2 cors.....

really brd 2cor and 2 good dd will do better than the normal 3xdd.

I know with me and a drg in a 4 man pty, rdm brd drg sam was able to get chain 100 before we broke, so anything else is bonus aka 2 cors ;D

that way you get marchx2, chaos, hunters (allows mean use), cor, and war roll. makes for pretty hot times. but honestly a dnc would be better, just saying.

Most people have enough trouble finding a corsair and bard duo, much less two corsairs and a bard. And like you said, an additional 10% haste is going to outperform a secondary set of rolls.
