It's not much more effort when 90% of your shell has at least one mule they could bring to merits to healbot. I think for most shells it would be harder to find 2 COR, or even ppl to actually go merit on birds and not just merit in Korroloka.

I fixed a little part of my TP set and it made a noticeable difference in accuracy. (82-89%) I'm still only 3/8 on polearm merits though, maybe bringing it up to 8 (or 5~ because I don't have enough room) would help me get near that 95% I want. BTW this party was double march and chaos roll, no minuets.

Doing better! 5 more merits would give you around 4.5% higher hit rate and effectively taking you almost to the cap. If you can only put two more your %acc isnt stellar but I guess its still good to the very low 82% you were putting out before.

That idea seems to have passed over the people of Midgard completely; I have seeked (sought?) on Dancer for countless hours with not even level sync invites.

It's either that or the people who would want to use a merited haste samba already have a dancer in shell they rely on.

About the only thing i can fully agree with you on, sadly 99% of DNCs suck at the job and give the few good ones a bad name, one of the best merit PTs i had recently was drg, mnk, dnc, rdm cor, and brd, (birds) i was even able to sub war as mnk with no issues which i doubt most healers could even keep up with, but of course, people don't even want to bother pting with a dnc to even try it, it's just "omg rdm, sam, war only!" etc.

I do wish people would get off this loldnc ego trip, you just have to search for that 1 good dancer...but yea, uhh..good luck with that.

I don't see why they even have to be good. As long as you can beat them over the head with maintaining Haste Samba before it wears off, and engaging the new targets before the current one is dead, they're fulfilling their role. They could wear full AF for all I care.

^ This is pretty much the main problem, they either don't merit it, or haven't botherd some merit step accuracy and shit for example.. others are very slow at healing, which is something i don't even understand since it's pretty instant JA..OR they WS more then they heal (omg check out my leet 700 dancing edge i'm such a pro DD!" "dies" "so like...why wasn't i healed?" "oh, no TP, sorry" shit like this, i'v seen it all at this point. and yes, the full AF ones are the best, because they can't get tp cause they can't hit...yet don't seem to understand why they can't hit but at least they look good i guess?

If a DNC is meriting something other than Haste Samba 5/5 and Reverse Flourish 5/5, then I'd say the DNC is doing something wrong.

Swap full acc with AF hands and Relic feet, and you shouldn't need Step merits.

That was with something other then haste, Haste Samba is the bread and butter of that merit catagory, anything else is still up to the dancer and acceptable, altho i don't think step accuracy is worth meriting but building flourish is also a good choice if you solo alot with it, i would'nt go so far to say they are doing something wrong not meriting reversh flourish but they can certainly live without it since with joy you can get TP at a fairly quick rate. at least i do, being a bit nitpicky.
