I cannot confirm any of Steven's results because im not on his server but I can tell you from parsing against a DECKED SAM/WAR with 8/8 polearm merits, they are very stout. If i had been eating mithakabobsI might of won as the SAM was, but I forgot them.

Also the polearm sams accuracy suggests he wasn't spamming crab sushi (or had less than good gear or no polearm merits), if he had nothing bravura or amano can do to approch it on birds.

Buffs were march/march war/cor roll i think he even got bored an did some sam roll. I just did a few RR was actually testing my MT build..

This is melee 164 / Kaiten 949

Mine was melee 178 / kaiten 1241 (actual)................wivre 128/880 birds 181/1258. (So my ratios were 6.88 and 6.96 ws to melee, vs the 5.79 in the posted parse. Thus why it seems odd.)

We also had a decked gaxe war, so as Fottiti mentioned, its sorta curious. Gaxe war was 191/1156 on RR on birds.

We had wivre's in our group too, so idk. Kaiten's take some tweaking to get it the way you want. I know I tried a lot of things.

If you split the data without wivre's, I wonder what it would look like. Can't wait to get home.


okies corrected data....in the post. After looking at the songs / rolls we had (versus what was posted), I'm guessing my kaiten simply had bigger support. Could be food, but regardless, kaiten is a beast when properly supported.

I wasn't complaining about double march, but I don't think 1500 average WS is going to come out of it...

The right buffs are:

Double march, Chaos, Corsairs.

With that a good pole SAM will average ~1300-1600.

Chaos roll produces more DOT than Fighter's Roll? This is assuming a War is in the PT like they usually are and the Cor doesn't have Af2 chance. I find that hard to believe. Even both of them at full power I would think Fighter's would win.

I think last time averages for both rolls were worked out Chaos came out as a little better than Fighter's unless already having a lot of attack before taking the rolls into account. At least without minuets, Chaos should win but I may be off as I cant find the thread where the calculations were posted right now.

No wonder you think Fighter's should pull ahead considering you once stated you would never notice a difference between the melee hits with and without Berserk (you said something like it made you hit for only 3-4 more damage/hit?) . Warriors being present in parties more often than Dark Knights is a good point though, but at least I find myself in parties with Corsairs with the AF2 piece more often than not, so its not really a big edge there.

What I was talking about was double minuet only raising my Melee average a few points at birds. Lately I've been noticing a larger increase of 10-15 points compared to other parses without minuets though. I appreciate you making me look like a douche though.
