X's knife BC question

I remember doing X's knife and being able to leave the battlefield before the chest was opened so that I could get another letter before next conquest update. Does this still work?

same , I only heard it in update info so yah it don’t work any more ...

0/41 so far on that bc , but two ls mates got it 1/1 lol... that bc is soo random...
