So what we need is a lead suit. That way we can commit whatever crimes we want and Superman cannot see us do it.

They would have to be very slow crimes though.

The main thing about lead is that it blocks radiation. So this includes X-Rays like Superman's vision and the radiation that emits from Kryptonite. It has nothing to do with Superman's own body, but what comes out of his eyes.

There are Daxamites which are a race descended from Kryptonians. Lead is their Kryptonite. Xenophobic and living under a red sun, most of them don't have powers for lead to take away so it usually just kills them outright.
