No it's probably just because FFXI is just retarded with the priority is gives in loading models, thus why you still see irrelevant random people outside out alliance but you don't see the giant dragon we are engaged with. In my experience unless you have max character models on, Fafnir and Darters usually don't load.

While we've been claiming Faf it's been a while since our last Nid. I don't know if NASA has anything to do with that though. But it figures that the LS willing to pay 2.5 grand for a bot has low enough standards to recruit Medicineman. Naysayer natives proven right I guess.

BUT you can still do something! the OP is just gonna hand out the cracked version to everyone (if it works anyways) which will still lead into frustration on both parties lol. I would find it more entertaining if they did send the bot to a higher ranking official, through IP's etc. Right before every window, youd see 1-3 ppl disappear and than vent would be full of screaming 16 year olds going "TURN IT OFF MAN"

The priority the game sets in loading models (players before the mob you are fighting) is stupid. Because everyone crowds the feet they load first cause they are closer, even though it might be more relevant to be able to see Nidhogg.

Note it's not just that one Darter in the back, there are people in the back whose names I see and whose models don't load.

This was one of the big reasons healers were so frustrated before they put in the stal targeting system, they couldn't cure people cause they couldn't see them... But they could see all these random fuckers who didn't matter.

Same for me, playing on PC, settings set to max quality, names generally appear first. Or in cases like the ever so laggy DA dragon pops seemingly claimed on my screen because of the crappy ffxi engines priorities.

To be honest, the only thing that SE would need to do to fuck the NASA Bot would be the following:

**Make Fafnir/Nidhogg spawn using Touchdown (AOE Stun) Random Duration, whoever gets claim is all based on luck from Stun Duration and it kills the LOL Level 5 Claim Mules (if any)

Do the same with King Behemoth

Make Aspidochelone spawn like Tuchulcha, Underground until someone agros it and it autoclaims to them
