xbox360 controllers problem

Okay, so i just got this problem some minutes ago. First i can't speak on the headset, but i can hear fine, and then the game lags, and suddenly my controllers can't connect to the console. I have two wired controllers, and not a single one will seem to connect, there's no green curve on the circle icon on the xbox. Was going to play halo with bear too :<.

I don't know of any one problem that would cause all three, but do you have anything else connected to the xbox besides your controllers? Sometimes other devices take priority and don't let the controllers sync I think. Also, maybe you have the mute switch on? The headsets they come with are pretty shitty. My friends and I have been having problems with XBL lately so maybe the problem has something to do with that, and my xbox lags a lot anyway, I just deal with it. Going from zone to zone in FFXI on XBOX is so much slower than computer, even my shitty computer.

I just found a third usb slot to connect one controller, so that temporarily fixes that issue, but anyway, the only other things i have connected are the usb slot towards the internet and a memory card.

Their customer service is actually pretty good, a quick call can diagnose most problems. Give it a shot. And I'm only offering this up instead of real advice because I know just how helpful (and concise) they can actually be, as opposed to most customer service.
