There are no levels. You upgrade your base, and go at it CTF style. Each class has two levels that can be upgraded by utilizing resources (surrounding trees and metal mines that the "worker" class chops up and distributes to the base). Once a class is upgraded, everyone on your team can access both levels of that class. You can change in between each levels of that class simply by hitting triangle at any time.

Best I can explain...

lv 1 worker has a short axe, sucks for offense, only good for gathering resources
lv 2 worker can throw bombs. Fucking awesome for offense.

lv 1 ranger has bow and arrows. Shoots very quickly and loads to max (by holding in the "fire" button) very quickly
lv 2 ranger uses a gun. A bit more powerful but extremely slow reloading. I prefer the bow

lv 1 warrior uses a sword and shield. Shield can block projectiles (arrows)
lv 2 warrior uses what looks like a long polearm. Slices quickly but has nothing defensive like the lv 1 does.

Lv 1 black mage can set you on fire
Lv 2 black mage can freeze you in place, or use ice to slow you down

Lv 1 priest heals you
lv 2 priest can drain enemies to the lowest possible health without killing you. One hit by anyone will kill you after that point.

I think I'm missing one, not sure.

We’ve received a flood of emails in the last 36 hours. We’re humbled by the incredible outpouring of appreciation and support from the community, and by the number of fans who have invested staggering amounts of time and effort in writing thoughtfully about their experiences and offering suggestions. Many of you are also actively contributing to forums all over the web.

Ninety-five out of a hundred emails are from gamers loving the game, even though some of them are experiencing varying degrees of networking problems and other bugs. Some of you have have serious troubles and are rightfully frustrated. We’re frustrated too, and we’re on it. Regardless, we thank you all. Titan loves you back.


Patch in Testing

We have implemented fixes that should substantially improve critical connection and lag issues. A patch has now entered testing. No ETA yet. When we have information to share, you’ll get it.

Known Issues, Bugs, Imbalances

The following bugs and imbalances have been well reported and documented. In general, there is no need to send additional information. If you come across something new – please send it on.

We’ll be working on a FAQ in the coming days. The FAQ will address the game, technical problems, systems, etc. Stay tuned.

Strategy / Tips

Titan Studios is also working on a Fat Princess strategies and tips page. Some of them were by design, and some have emerged from live play. Until then, play as a team, use voice chat, and know that a piece of virtual cake has 150 calories.

I was finally able to get past the connection lag tonight by joining the game brisk(?) was in. that was a ton of fun. Also, having a teammate that sounded exactly like Cleveland and singing along to Kanye while his sister was bitching him out in the back-round made it all the more worth it.

I get the feeling there'll be a future game mode that involves a race to stuffing your queen more than the opponent within a given time limit. There's so much potential for game mode additions it's not even funny...

At any rate, lvl2 warrior is awesome for the fact no one can get away from you when you charge your attack for that fast-moving sweep attack, which I spam for means of just getting around the map quicker than actually killing someone.

I've found the warrior to be the weakest job class actually. The lock on move for lv 2 seems to not connect a lot, maybe it's my connection...

Yes, cause cartoony engines makes a game bad or means you should automatically dismiss em, amirite? Game is awesome, and the cartoon feel is what makes the game so awesome when played out.

While the warrior is lacking in offensive power (I've found anyways), it's strength is in the ability to defend! A few Sword + Shield Warriors are EXCELLENT escorts for Princess carries, just Circle on, and press L1. VOILA, Instand Phalanx of stunn- warrors. Keeps em safe from those ever present Marksmen/Hunter/Archer/Things.
