On the subject of fire, I found that a Worker or a Worker and Mage duo (it's easier) can keep burning logs further up to give their team the constant benefit of fire damage. Both bombs as well as the AoE fire attack will set logs that the Worker cuts down ablaze. They work the same as torches do, and are generally more useful since on the larger maps the fire is pretty much restricted to defending as mentioned. The castle (and sometimes areas around it) has a bunch of torches. When the Ranger upgrade is built, these light. Touching a sword/spear/bow/gun to the torch will ignite the weapon for approx. 1 minute, making it do considerably more damage.
Due to the short time it lasts, this is generally only useful for defending the castle.
It's a little harder to do with bombs as they tend to roll when you don't want them too, but it's definitely a useful trick. I guess the biggest problems with it are worrying about Worker NPCs grabbing the logs for resource collection, or the enemy team finding/using them. (At this point they'd likely ignore them though) I still think it's worth the effort.
sig test, also been playing this game online a bit and it's loads of fun. although somehow in a game last night both princesses got killed or something, not sure how that worked
Must have been playing with a bunch of idiots last night........ We won 3 matches in a row, each match was under 6 minutes.
The Worker and Priest are my favorite classes so far.
Priest seems like it's almost too easy to get points on at this point. Changing to that as soon as it's upgraded has put me at the top or near the top of the points list almost every match I've been in using that.
Villager is just too fun to play though. Apparently I've used that more than anything else online
Edit: I'm guessing I already know, but what does the ring that pops up when you overcure someone do? Aside from giving you 10 points while running to the action![]()
protects them completely from one attack, whether it's a peck from a chicken or an exploding big bomb
I've had tons of matches like that. It generally happens when one side is stacked with regular players and the other is half PC players. The regulars storm the enemy castle before anything else and usually start screwing things up for the other team before they can even build their doors.
Finally EU patch it live.
This game really pisses me off sometimes.
Princess is captured, time is running out and the catapult won't work.
Annoys me to no end.
this game makes me ; ;
I had that same shit happen last night.Princess is captured, time is running out and the catapult won't work.
I also had a game where our princess glitched out. The map had her location right near the thrown, but the bitch was no where to be found.
[EDIT] My bad, wrong thread.
i played a match on that map with pirate ships instead of castles (sugar cove?) and the blue princess just fucking disappeared.
also, the arrow showing which team has the princess keeps disappearing when she's being carried through water, not just on that map but like black forest as well
Pick this up last night, funny game.... hard to get the idea of though lol
only got a couple hours of online play in now, but really enjoying it. I just jump into games and usually gravitate toward playing worker or warrior... I actually like the lvl2 warrior; good for chasing. worker is just great for versatility; solid offense and you can always work on resources and repairing when you need to.
it's great to play worker with an ice mage. mage freezes, you dump bombs in the middle that explode when the ice comes off. good shit.
