Basically use sacrifice and then esuna, could be simpler but at least whm's don't have to go to frontline that way I guess?

Reading is hard.
For those that keep freaking out about "Yagrush becoming obsolete", let's take a look at what they're saying Esuna will do:
1) Only remove the effect if you have it too, Yagrush will obviously win there.
2) Esuna will "Remove enfeebling effects". I'm going to almost guarantee you that Esuna will just be a universal -na spell and will not remove effects like Bio, Slow, Rasp/Choke/etc. Yagrush makes Erase AoE, and thus, will win there as well.
#2 is somewhat speculation on my part, but judging from how they described it, I'm pretty sure that's how they'll implement it.
I guess that explains why sacrifice is a spell instead of a ja; so you woulnt have the same timer problems of divine seal/veil. Also this means that whms will have to be more careful about using it, so they don't take something like silence or Petra. Would be pretty situational, but could really make life easier too.
Don't ask me I don't play lolRDM, and I wouldn't be caught dead as lolmeleeRDM. I don't know what lolmelee RDM wants. I just think it would actually be pretty funny if Red Mage did get an adjustment and it was a silly frontline JA.
Sorry I couldn't come up with a better lolability
Short of making an ability that can convert TP into MP every 2 minutes, I can't imagine melee RDM given any thought. And even then, it would still be useless most endgame. RDM has too much shit to do to be running around and hitting stuff.
SE learned that the only way to get a job on the front line is to make its TP useful. Example: Dancer. I don't see any way for them to apply this to Red Mage short of fucking up the job completely.
I, for one, would like to see adjustments for Red Mage that make it more useful as a Support role for parties of 6 to 9 people. Preferebly in a way that doesn't make it seem so weak, compared to the new and improved White Mage.
Just read the whole update in french, Auspice's description is a tad clearer about the buffs, the en-light effect and acc boost is only on the WHM.
Banish and Holy is simply more DMG
And like i mentioned earlier, Esuna's caster needs the enfeeble on as well
as a paladin, im going to be very annoyed now when my white mages compete with each other to give me stoneskin by cure bombing me ~_~
Wow, 20 minutes later I finally caught the line:
Gogo SMN/SCH for real! COR/SCH could be viable in some situations now, too.White magic "Reraise": Learning requirement reduced from Lv33 to Lv25 for WHM, and Lv40 to Lv35 for SCH.
And if we're placing bets, I'd guess (in order of likelyhood) the next update notes will be:
1. RDM (2 to 1 odds)
2. SMN (5 to 1 odds)
3. BLM (20 to 1 odds)
You beat me Nits LMAO!!!1

So by its nature Esuna will never be able to remove Silence or Petrification.
