I loved both of them. Pain in the ass setting up Windows Live account first time but well worth it imo.

This is true. While the games have the same recurring character (Adol) they can be played in any order. My order was Felgahna > Seven > Origin > Chronicles and I never really had any major spoilers.

Seven might spoil to VI to some extent since one of the characters from Ys VI returns in Seven as a playable character and does make some brief mentions of the events in Ys VI. Can't really say if it's a huge spoiler or not since I never played VI.

I know this is late to the party but I remember having this info written down:

Ys Origin
Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished
Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished - The Final Chapter
Ys IV: Mask of the Sun
Ys III: Wanderers from Ys
Ys V: Kefin, The Lost City of Sand
Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim
Ys Seven

So while they are self contained they do flow into each other excluding remakes and Dawn of Ys as they tend to "rectify" some inaccuracies from what I seen, i.e Felghana changes up the lore of Genos and Galbalan slightly. So it's basically like how Zelda is laid out in a sense that you can play each game just fine without a previous one, but with Ys the lore tend to flow well in order if you play the appropriate versions haha. Origins I believe was made more to try to tell the story from the start.

Is there a fast/easy way to put dungeon defenders on my wife's computer if she likes it without her having to sit through the download times? Could I just log in to my account on her computer and get it downloaded ahead of time before it goes on sale?

I can't speak for the other 2, but Grimrock is amazing. Best 20 hours I've spent so far this year.

I think the IV remake is going to push me into buying a PS Vita, it looks like they are retaining the mechanics from Seven.. and then some.

Buy Saints Row 3 for $13 or wait and get it on Gamefly for xbox? If there is no glaring issues with xbox version then leaning towards that.

Saints Row on PC > Plug in 360 controller > Get same experience lol. (Well PC version I found better honestly, console ones I always had issues with SR3.)

Started playing Oath of Felghana and man this shit is brutal on hard. Maybe I should restart on normal just to get used to shit but I'm liking the challenge and how unforgiving it can be. If Oath is this much fun, I'll definitely pick up Origins by the end of the sale.
