Anyone got something nice to say about the Gothic series? It's one of those PC RPGs I've 'heard' a lot about, but never really gotten around to trying, at all.
No clue if they aged horribly or are technically busted nowadays though. I have a decent threshold for archaic clunky interfaces though so that wouldn't be an issue.
Avoid Arcania at all costs
go vote for JustCause2 for community deal. Theres a pretty cool looking MP mod for it in beta atm and looks fun as hell.
do it.
Spoiler: show
^ Just got off again 30mins ago. Fucking love that mod. Mod of the fucking year. Too bad this is a 1 day test again.
Should note that even if you miss a flash sale or daily deal, it's very common for Steam to have deals from previous days show up again on the final day of the event.
Refund got, TIME TO BUY MORE GAMES.
tempted to pick up a prince of persia. only 2.50 each. anyone remember what the best one was?
anything positive on trine 2? it's $3.74, tempted as hell
If you liked Trine 1, it's essentially just 'more of the same', except prettier, and the areas are a little more open/larger to accomodate the proper co-op support.
Granted, the co-op makes some of the puzzles easy as fuck to ignore.
And new flash sales, X: SuperBox, and Sword of the Stars collections,
Trine 2 is pretty fun. Not that far in it, but really am enjoying it.
Its basically an fps diablo. Some people get bored of it after their first run. But for 5 euros, you will easily get your money back.
Whoa; that was a delayed response. More on topic Trine 2 pretty good.
imo, the first Trine was better but they're both good and definitely worth buying
my issue with the second one is that you rarely/never have to utilize all the characters, and it just doesn't feel as creative, but meh, still fun
I only played Trine 1 single-player. Fuck sharing the camera with two others in such a confined space. The co-op in that was just a 'bonus', game wasn't designed with it in mind.
Fuck everybody who voted for dead space 2. Seriously, I wanted Just Cause
