Magicka w/ all the dlc is $17.99, worth it or getting the $5.99 game better?

Not sure about DLC and such. But it was on flash sale a couple hours ago.

Started playing Oath of Felghana and man this shit is brutal on hard. Maybe I should restart on normal just to get used to shit but I'm liking the challenge and how unforgiving it can be. If Oath is this much fun, I'll definitely pick up Origins by the end of the sale.

Origins plays extremely similar to it. It's more forgiving in terms of boss fights and you can play through the game as 3 characters (3rd is unlocked after you beat the game with one of the initial 2 characters).

Though yeah, Hard mode is pretty brutal in Felghana.

Anyone got something nice to say about the Gothic series? It's one of those PC RPGs I've 'heard' a lot about, but never really gotten around to trying, at all.

No clue if they aged horribly or are technically busted nowadays though. I have a decent threshold for archaic clunky interfaces though so that wouldn't be an issue.

You missed out, the Magicka complete edition was $7.49 this morning. You might wait and see if it goes down again.

Should note that even if you miss a flash sale or daily deal, it's very common for Steam to have deals from previous days show up again on the final day of the event.

If you liked Trine 1, it's essentially just 'more of the same', except prettier, and the areas are a little more open/larger to accomodate the proper co-op support.

Granted, the co-op makes some of the puzzles easy as fuck to ignore.

Trine 2 is pretty fun. Not that far in it, but really am enjoying it.

Its basically an fps diablo. Some people get bored of it after their first run. But for 5 euros, you will easily get your money back.

imo, the first Trine was better but they're both good and definitely worth buying

my issue with the second one is that you rarely/never have to utilize all the characters, and it just doesn't feel as creative, but meh, still fun

Really? In 1 I found the game to be MORE difficult in MP because you had to get all 3 players through each area instead of just doing the puzzle with the appropriate character and moving on. It was a lot more fun for me in MP honestly.

I only played Trine 1 single-player. Fuck sharing the camera with two others in such a confined space. The co-op in that was just a 'bonus', game wasn't designed with it in mind.
